yeah I'm pretty you can automate most things for each band (frequency, gain, Q)? It's dynamic section is also more tweak able where Pro-Q 3 only has a threshold and auto mode @@Bhebhe

I literally record vocals with nothing but CLA reverb on the bus. Do this for the ENTIRE record. Then go in after and add tune and mix it. It's SOOOOO clean this way. Have the Artist go sing/rap it in with nothing but reverb. Then go in and add plugins after during mixing. This will also solve the issue of "singers" who can't really sing relying on the autotune too much. Take it off completely.

The 3a is so cold. When I didn’t know anything I started with it. And after I learned I strayed from it. But then I listened back and thought. Those tracking are fire just did everything else around it with room treatment as a rookie. Wish I could just fix that and leave the emotion of old recordings hahah

I use Spectre on every mix but it’s not Hall of Fame, YET. It’s a perennial all-star, league mvp, and on its way to being a 1st ballot HOF. Give it time for this conversation.

Magix Sequioa and Samplitude Pro has had those functions since they were created. That is why the mastering engineers use those DAWs. Give them props. Daws are playing catchup to them.. real talk.

I jus learned the basics of Sequoia and it's so powerful. Just having an accurate LUFS meter should be standard in all DAWs at this point 😭

The thing about RVox and RComp is that the same thing as what y’all said earlier about using a template for 5-10yrs. Lots of people just use what they been using since they were an intern.

I use L2 still and I love it. I’ll use it before I go into my limiter

Ya boys ain't ready for that la-4 opto compressor, fuse audio labs has a plugin emulation, it's the best vocal compressor, one of MJ's favorite and it's very transparent and smooth, it pairs well with any saturator specially since the CL 1B is inspired by it.

I used to be a plug-in junky .. I recently started using Hardware eq and hardware compression on my vocals and now I barely use plugins 😂😭😭😭😭😭 and don’t even use all the plugin spaces in pro tools.

If u got Izotope Neutron u dont need spectre. You can do the same with neutron exciter in multiband mode.

Is there any Plugin that has similar meters like TGP for the Lows, Mids & Highs hitting a sweet Spots? I think it would be very helpful if u are Starting a mix with a Kick to know how much LOWEND , MIDS AND HIGHS and compression for a Kick is ENOUGH! How do o know IF the Frequencies on a Kick are in A GOOD Balance.???? NOT AN EASY QUESTION, I know THANKS
