Promotes all in one plugin one minute(Musick Hack mastering plugin) then later at Naam you say all in one plugins are currently the worst thing about plugins..(You loose credibility being contradictory and kind of misleading.

“Take You Down” is a classic. The fact that he made that when he’d just started learning Logic shows you that it’s not always about the tools; it’s about the artist and the passion.

Finally Reason In The Building!!!!💪🏾❤️
Bro played those synth parts on Kanye West “Flashing Lights” and I have his Korg Triton that he used, like the literal equipment he used in my studio, bro Mars a legend 🔥
So many podcasts left and right and this one is STILL the single most valuable one I've ever watched. Glad to see how far it has come!!
His stories of how he produced with his guys is so relatable. I have a similar feeling with my boys, seeing our different strengths and highlighting them when we collab. While at the same time working individually to be our best by ourselves. Being in a Christian household and sharing your music with your parents is super real lol.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌REASON IS IN THE BUILDING🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 I've been telling people no to sleep on it for the creative and production side....That's my top go-to
Love it!
Reason Gang 🧡🖤💪🏽

great interview , we need more LJ on this mode. asked the best questions and steer'd the interview very well. keep up the great work
Mad respect for Nipsey, because how many Men can say they have never raised their voice when having a disagreement with your S/O, when they already have raised their voice at you? Having the presence of mind in those situations where you can keep your cool is extremely rare.
wow such a really inspiring episode coming from a religious home I can very much relate to this and you guys asked some really great questions
Reason 12 is the sleeping giant of DAW #ReasonGang
ayee i seen dawg on the rnb money pod this is tuff

"If you don't have time to think you can allow the magic to happen." 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Literally just watched Mars on R&B Money and this feels full circle. As an artist and self taught engineer, MyAudioNerds & R&B Money are the 2 most informative podcasts. Feel like my big homies just linked up or something 😂. Keep dropping gems fellas we need y’all 💪🏾🔥
hahhahaha "NAH STAR WARS!!!"
Someone finally spoke on Reason what a 💎
All my favorites
The more you create music, you realize it's about preference. Some will like working on analog, some digital, some enjoy this DAW and some like others. It's all tailored to you Mixing included. I remember being a kid and couldn't afford the hottest audio software, so to see what one enjoys creating on is just dope. I used to be happy with just finding a cheap or free audio editor to just put my ideas out. I didn't care nothing about which DAW is lethal than others. btw i used reason and every daw known. I'm just happy to see what people are working on.
Reason & Logic are the best.
Now I love Reason!
REASON GANGG!!!
Yoo Hala to all of you in the room happy to see all of ya today

Love You Like I Do is CRAZY!!!

“This Is What It Feels Like” was originally Nipsey Hussle and Tito Lopez. This was a few years before the version with Jay-Z was released.
👏👏👏
You need to get Key Wane 👀👀👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just Started,I Have Pro Tools,Reason,Ableton,MPC Beats,I have The MPK Mini Plus which has LogicPro,Garage Band, and a bunch of others. What DAW is easiest to navigate for you guys?
I think skilled church musicians make the best producers. They interpret the emotions by constantly following emotional singing. Just my opinion!
Reason is the GOD of DAW´s! 😎
42:37 that part 💯💯💯
You should have warren huart as a guest on your show! He is a great teacher and defo a interesting person to talk to!
15:40 Nah star wars 😂😂
Studio one >>
Where can I find the video of him and just blaze
Can we get more tutorials
I use reason !!!!
Mike and Keys would be great for an interview. what is PV autotune?
me, dj khalil & this dude are probably the only people on planet earth that use reason lmao
15:42 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"......and stuff like that"
The drums on Victory Lap don’t knock, so it makes sense that it was mostly done in Reason. I’m an ex Reason user turned Beatmaker 2 turned FL user btw. I just recently added Reason player in FL because I have thousands of refills from like 2009-2013 that were collecting dust.

thats weird because Dr.Dre's Kush was done on Reason by DJ Khalil. & almost no song hits harder than that song. its weird when a person says a DAW doesn't knock. all that tells me is that they don't know what they're doing & are looking for certain DAW's that make your drums hit out of the box with no effort or knowledge of how sound or compression works. not everybody using these DAW's makes hip-hop so not every DAW compresses everything to all hell out of the box like FL studio.

@@asdfxcvbn746 you’re not completely wrong. In all fairness, I didn’t know how to get my drums to knock for shit when I was using Reason heavy. I just learned what compression actually does like 5 years ago lol. I just know drums from a damn app on my phone was hitting harder than the DAW on my computer 😂

@@thurdysixo "I didn’t know how to get my drums to knock for shit when I was using Reason heavy." --- compressors? limiters? turning the volume up? lol smh "I just learned what compression actually does like 5 years ago lol." --- oh ok you're relatively new. my bad. I ain't mean to bash you. I was in a bad mood this morning when I made that comment lmao "I just know drums from a damn app on my phone was hitting harder than the DAW on my computer" --- they throw limiters & compressors on stuff default in the phone apps to make it simple & easy for newcomers. its the same with recording vocals on phone apps. the phone apps like Bandlab automatically throw autotune like correction on vocals to make it sound like people can sing on key. in the bog boy DAW's they don't put all that stuff on it default because someone might not want that sound.
Dude reminds me of TJ houshmandzadeh lol
I still got reason 4 😅

how old is your computer goddamn. i had reason 9 & it was so old my 2019 computer didn't even work with it anymore. i can't imagine how incompatible reason 4 is. dude you need to upgrade wtf. you can't even time stretch vocals or samples in reason 4 as that didn't come until reason 6 or 7 smh
They won't push Reason any other time
lol FL guy 20 years old but talking like he 30 sumthn 😂! Bro got balls and i’m glad bout that 😁

You are indeed first
stock dont mean bad it mean stock these programs are made to mix not nesserily the cpu but the daw is mad to rec mix edit and master. when u get to the level of understanding its about getting use to your tools like a craftsman and using and training your EARS more effectintly you'll start to match you expression and emotion with your therotical audio/music knowledge then you'll use anything as long as its not a totally trash plugin (which most are not today mostly all these plugins are usable you just gotta understand how to use them for you musicality.)alot of us start off using our tools bad like a new construction workers, but once u get that the screwdriver isn't meant for beating a nail in some wood thats wat the hammer is for then you'll start to see mixing is like constructing a structure made out of sound and less of a "one trick pony" type of situation.
as a church kid and a kid with parents that didn't get it, i felt that part in my spirit.. man.... but making take you down on logic while learning the program.. crazy 😤 logic gang in the building.. need that @iamtr3nails
I KEEP TRYING TO TELL THE COMMENT SECTION! Reason is the BEST stock production and overall production daw. I started on Reason 5 over a decade ago, and nothing took the crown yet imo. Still Studio One Gang for engineering 😏 And shout out to Mars for keeping it 100 about the SSL style custom chain Reason has been using FOREVER! @TruthHayesMusic 😤
been binging this pod! @prod.grid
@omgcoreywtf I use different DAWs for different jobs but I mostly stay in FL
