FL Studio also needs a stock De-Esser plugin. They have everything else you would need to mix vocals like EQ, Comp, Reverb, Delay, Tuning, etc.

Greetings Guys! I just want to say about Studio One, There are many ways to setup your windows. Almost any multiple views you need you can setup. I use it between 3 monitors. Try it for 6 mos and your opinion will definately change. This coming from someone certified on Pro Tools. Studio one is for the total musician. So beatmakers find it lacking because it doesn't open up with that in mind. But you can set it up to your needs and workflow. And your daws shortcuts are probably recognized as well. Bottom line is, there is a lot Studio one can do but it is not on the surface for any one creator. You have to set it up. Keep up the good work!

Easy access routing like max for live and fl patcher don't come close to the intuitive cv workflow of reasons rack 🤷‍♂ advanced sound design is just easier.

LJ what about instead of a recording mode. They make a “fruity record”plugin, you put it on the channel the vocals/mic is running to. You put it before the fx in the rack and it’ll record the dry signal of the take but you would still be hearing the effected vocal in your headphones/monitoring. If you put it last in the effect chain it will record the vocals with the fx baked in. And then when you open the plugin on the screen there’s the record button a routing choice for what channel it goes to when done recording, a gain knob and any other necessary utility buttons needed to record so that way you can see it record right into the playlist as you do it but all of the controls for recording are nice neat and super easy to use and work with?

  • @justiceleaguebloodlinecrew6929

@@Octxvius yeah I know the option to record dry or post fx is in fl in the fx rack but all of the options and things we need to record in fl are already in there somewhere. LJ was talking about a recording mode that made it more convenient, beginner and user friendly to record in fl. So I was just throwing an idea out about more of a utility type plugin that takes everything ya need to record in fl and puts it right into one easy to use plugin. Simplifying the recording process for both beginners and experienced users.

You can create Mix, Master and go back to the Mix and adjust, then go right back to the master all in one program and it was the first to do it. No shade, but please don’t hate on Studio One. I seen the quick NAMM clip of the midi plugins they are working on and I’m wondering if they missed the target on what “beat makers” are asking for. Pro tools can do everything. Combine “sound base” “elastic properties” “beat detective” “groove cell” “event operations” “audio suite” and have Pro Tools detect the Key and tempo of the sample. Pro Tools has a lot of the tools and avid doesn’t condense them into a midi instrument and drum machine for sample based beat makers. (Hip hop, drum and bass, r&b, edm etc)
