McKenna has what it takes to win in life and in the music industry. I could listen to that voice for life. For those who love and appreciate the ones that are able to make u feel the lyrics and connect, shes exactly what we love to listen to a need. Adele has that power with her songs... Mckenna's bread n butter are those emotional type songs and i hope she realizes how many deep and emotional souls out there love the way she masters the art of connection through her music.

Yes, McKenna is a Super Star she deserves to win the 2024 America Idol award. Her voice is timeless, she evokes emotions with her audiences, every songs she sing could be a collection of other celebrities song covers that’s how amazing she is, similar to how Whitney Houston made other artist songs a hit. McKenna is a natural talent, I really don’t understand why we haven’t heard her on the radio.

She has a lovely voice, but I never understand why the let people who have already performed professionally compete in American Idol. I thought that the completion was supposed to be about discovering raw unprofessional talent yet to be discovered.

Win or lose she is launched if she is careful of the pitfalls of that nasty business(the music industry)

I love McKenna singing and vocal interpretation, but the smoky, husky sound in her voice is a sign that her vocal cords which have been damaged This is especially worrying for her young age. I hope she can work with a vocal coach to learn techniques to protect and improve her voice.

Yes, she has what it takes to win, but if anyone seeing this comment has access to McKenna or her family, PLEASE get this message to her. She is on American Idol, not American Band. Her performance of Both Sides Now was the last time her incredible voice and innate ability to connect to the song and the audience was allowed to be the exclusive star. Ever since then the volume of the band (whether as a whole or even a single instrument) has been too loud! It is diminishing the magic. McKenna's voice and her talent is MORE than enough. The judges' comments on her last performance keyed in on how she draws us in, the whole room gets quiet, and we almost stop breathing. That's correct, but the stupid overly load band is getting in the way! Please McKenna and McKenna's family stand up for yourself and insist the focus gets back to McKenna and not the band. When she played the piano herself on both sides now Katy commented that McKenna "is such a pro". Exactly! She knew not to pound away at the piano keys but used them beautifully to add to the magic of the overall performance, instead of it being a distraction. McKenna can win this thing, but a portion of her votes depends on the emotional connection the audience gets with the specific performance being voted for. McKenna is the star, not the band or any band instrument (even an acoustic guitar). I hope this message gets through to her. We love your performances Mckenna, and we want to hear YOU not an overpowering band.
