It wasn't at all about *what* he did, which was silly as crap. But rather, it is the *way* he did it. He has a charisma and timing that makes the whole thing hilarious and fun. I get why she pushed the buzzer. The world needs more stuff like this in it.

Furthermore edgy comedy which pushes the boundaries can often be great. We are running out of good comedians in the uk which is a great shame but your ideas i think are not the answer

It’s easier to make a joke that’s complicated because you’ve got so many elements to work with. To be funny with simplicity that’s not been done a million times before is very difficult. Try it. And we’ve seen edgelord comedians all the time. Go to any comedy club and you’ll see 10 of them.

The best things for me about these videos is there is so much fun and happiness in that theater. We see audiences happy and encouraging the contestants. We see all kinds of people and acts getting their moment in the spotlight. Such a thrill. For many I would bet it's a lifelong treasured memory. I like that the show has evolved to what it is now.
