My favorite part of her performances is that she's so gifted in understanding the song & using emotion while also having a voice that's bordering on a force of nature.

Yep the hardest part of covers and singing is making emotion through your voice and part of the experience.

This is probably the best American Idol performance of ALL time. I get chills down my spine when I watch it. Abi is gifted vocalist and performer. She may take it all this season!!

It wasn't just how great it was, it was how seemingly effortless it was. Great song choice, Luke.

Im REALLY impressed. She was flawless. Even in the first part, she nailed every note. And she has a darky, melancholic touch, which I can relate. How I missed someone playing evanescence with this quality! I gonna follow you young lady.

I have heard many artists attempt this song. This is the first cover I have heard that is worthy of listening to again. Superlative. 🤘🏻

Her singing is impecable. However, she is becoming removed from the person she was at her audition. Some would say she is growing in confidence, I see her already starting to lose herself. She is good, even great. I hope she works at not losing herself

Abi is top female voice for me as well. She's like a tornado. She draws and sucks you in with the haunting soft tone, takes you on a wild whirlwind and then blows you away with long held power notes and you're left wondering what just happened! ❤

I’ve watched this so many times it’s unhealthy lol I look forward to hearing more of her performing this genre of music and seeing her in concert in the future

She is a combination of Streisand, Celine, and Pink...crazy talented. I would bet she wins multiple Grammys. It would be a crime if she does not win this years Idol...her last six or so performances have been best of night and some of the best in Idol history.

Not only was this one of the best American Idol performances of all time, if not the best, but I think she may be the best singer to ever be on American Idol, and that is saying a lot based on the singers that have come from there. This woman can sing anything, and to perfection, and her stage presence and performance is on point! She should win, hands down, and I said that from day one with her audition, but regardless she will be a huge star!

I adore this singer, and she's truly exceptional. Her vocal range knows no bounds across any genre she tackles. She infuses every performance with such intimacy and emotion. Loved this song for her, vocals were phenomenal. You can’t hear it so much in this performance but when she’s on the piano and singing some of the slower songs you can hear a Barbara Streisand quality to her voice. She’s amazing and there’s nothing she can’t sing. Very interested to hear some original music… she could quite possibly be the Taylor Swift of her generation, super talented, stage presence, humble, sweet and funny.

She is very good, still pitchy at times. Her voice needs to mature a little more.. Great potential. She doesn't have the depth of vocals that Streisand or Celine Dion has/had. Linda Eder(Star Search Winner in the 80's) was way more like Streisand & had a Broadway musical written for her(Jeckyll & Hyde).

This is the same Abi!?!?! Doesn't even look like the same girl who auditioned!

As soon as they showed the 3 song choices my jaw dropped and I thought "OMG... she's gonna choose Bring Me To Life and probably win American Idol tonight!"...and she damn sure did! Abi's voice, and just how she naturally sings, is perfect for covering Amy Lee.

WOW. I remember when i listened to this back in 2007. I was 11 years old. And what this girl did put me to tears because it brought me back to that 11 year old me and using a dish remote as a mic and dressing in black. Just chilling.

All I can say is wow! What a performance I feel she could have won the show right there and then.
