Thank you for writing exactly what I was thinking, and the "adult version" of the song, minus the curly-headed girl and obediently cute dog (which were fine for the musical) is a completely different experience. Sydnie made it so. When they enhanced the Golden Buzzer with "Over the Rainbow" I connected Sydnie to Judy Garland at 17 in _The Wizard of Oz_ Her performance allowed the viewer to think of the song as portraying a kid yearning to fulfill her dreams but also (and this became clear as Garland continued to sing the song to the end of her life) to hear the unsure questioning by an adult of whether reaching the end of the rainbow is actually possible. Similarly, Sydnie takes a rather simple and shallow anthem to sticktoitiveness on a child's level and turns it into thoughtful reflection on the trials that an adult facing some new challenge has already survived. There was also never a dull moment because of the control Simon mentioned. I never knew what to expect from her voice next but there was never anything static or mushy. Bravissima! So happy for her, her family and the audience.

If she doesn't have 'IT', nobody has! She made 'Tomorrow' a totally brand new song, like an artist painting a true masterpiece on an oh so, ordinary piece of canvas. It makes me wonder what she did with the song at 4 years of age. She's also a real entertainer, and I believe there is so much more to Sydnie, than what we've just experienced. She has that ability (truly creative) to make something out of nothing.💝💖💝

Her version is so serene and magical. It's as if she's telling her life story, full of emotions, control and soulful. A well-deserved golden buzzer. Congrats, Ms. Christmas. 👏🎉

Wow what a sympathetic and pretty woman. Blessed with a voice that warmed my heart so that I had tears in my eyes and looked spellbound at the screen I didn't think for a second that the song might end, I just enjoyed it. I hope we hear a lot more from this extraordinary woman and her fantastic voice Sydnie chrismas is a new star for me

WHY has Sydnie not been belting it out on a West End stage for 10 years already?!!

She has that old-style fuller range - she can really belt things out and make each note clear. Seemed like mature vocals. As if she's been breathing fresh alpine air all her life. She's wonderful.

Fun fact: my grandmother hated this song for some reason (born in 1926) she passed away 3 days before sydnie did this rendition..and I guarantee, she would have absolutely loved it.
