This is absolutely sublime! When the song started, my 4 year old daughter stopped moving, listened intently and said, “mommy, she has a beautiful voice; it’s like flowers!” Couldn’t have said it better myself!

She just walks into a room with 3 music superstars and put them and us in a 2 minute trance like the whole world melted away and all that mattered was feeling her voice and living in that moment.

The best singer doesn't always win. It comes down to the preferences of the viewing audience. She is definitely going to be one of the best this year but that is no guarantee that she will win. Also, there are other very talented performers who have put on a great show in their auditions. When they have to start showing their versatility with some different genres and they have to perform in different settings including having the band and stage lights and bigger crowds some performers rise to the top. She certainly is a great singer, though.

Usually some cornball country boy who has never played in front of a crowd wins. America usually gets it wrong. This young lady should win it all...but don't be surprised if that little 15-year old country kid wins.

As soon as she started on the piano you knew she was good, an amazing piano player is never gonna have a bad voice.

My goodness... she brought me to tears. Incredible voice.... and sweet soul. Wow.

The mom listening at the door, a single tear on her cheek waiting to hear if the judges were clapping, priceless … great audition, nice family, sweet kid!

She brought me to tears with her beautiful voice. What made me cry even more was to see the pure love of her brother lying on the floor just to listen to his little sister sing and her other sister running to her for a hug. Wow, she's a blessing. Her whole family is blessed to have each other.

At the airport waiting for my connecting flight to go stand by my little brother for his wedding and this girl brought me to tears. Truly god given gift. So excited for what life has in store for her and her family. I could watch this over and over and not tire of it.

That was everything..... Definitely an anointed voice and vessel. She did a beautiful job 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

That’s a superstar right there. This is the purest you will see her, from now on she will be transformed into what American Idol and the music industry want her to be.

The cry in the voice set her apart and the power in her voice was undeniable to the judges.

I love the original because I’m a big Billie eilish fan. But man, the emotion in this had me in tears too. This is what music is about. Making people feel something. And she’s going to be a superstar.

You can tell she "had to go someplace" to sing that way. Amazing.

I seldom cry while listening a song but with this, I can’t hold my tears. She delivers the song with amazing emotion and the voice was really meant for the song. I haven’t heard the song before but I absolutely love it with her rendition. I hope she’ll make it to the top…God’s grace.

But none as much as I was by the beauty, passion & sincerity of this beautiful young lady. The pain that she has endured in her young life, I believe has been much; and it was all there in that moment. Her support system in her hometown Indio, CA is HUGE. Before she left for Hollywood this week, the city coordinated a free concert for her to perform in front of a 1,000+ people. She was AMAZING based on the you tube downloads I saw. She truly is a NATURAL at this singing and entertaining stuff. She is off to a great start 😉

I've watched American Idol for years, her talent surpassed them all. Shes a lovely woman, with a beautiful voice.

The original by Billie Eilish is even better. Billie purposely sings it in a soft, whispy voice to sound as if she's just been crying and to convey vulnerability. A very hard way to sing. Billie's original is the best, but this came close.

So as Abi rolls through Idol and makes it to the final 3 cause we all know she will, they usually get to sing they're audition sing again on the FINAL night. By then we as fans will be so emotionally charged pulling for our favorite singer. If and when this happens for Abi 🤞 and she sings this CLASSIC song again in that moment, I will literally start SOBBING 😢😭 Hell I cry watching this video and we aren't even fully vested yet. NOT only is she an INCREDIBLE talent, she comes across as GENUINE a human being as they come 😉
