My fiance died 2 months ago from esophageal cancer. I would kneel by his hospital bed and hold his hand and sing this song to him. He couldnt talk but he would give my hand little squeezes to let me know he heard me and that he felt our love. Thank you for this song.

I mixed monitors for Loretta Lynn years ago. She was the most kind living legend I’ve ever worked with. She introduced herself to everyone on the local crew by herself and then at the end of the show she brought personally signed autographed pictures to everyone on the crew. She remembered everyone perfectly. A true class act! Her grand daughter will do very well!

Ziggy hit me like a tone of brick. Here he was showing up dressed like that, looking the way he looked and I say to myself, exactly like... Who's this? And then I herd him sing (perform) and he brought God to us. Because God made him too. How beautiful we are when we accept all of us on this God's earth.

I love how life happens even when we jave otjer plans. Blake was meant to sing, Emmy was meant to write songs and overcome an eating disorder, Ziggy raised himself and now he is being raised up and the list of examples goes on. Inspiring, heartfelt and beautiful people making music 🎶💓

Here in the Netherlands we have a saying that says “Do normal, that’s weird enough”. Special people who truly are themselves are despised and yelled at in the Netherlands. So was Ziggy. He is so unique and talented, yet many people make fun of him and he gets hated all over the place. It’s not his place, it’s unfair. While silently, so many people get inspired by him, just by being his true self and living his life to the fullest. He has gone through a lot… I’m so happy that he finally gets the stage that he earns. I know the nerves were getting him, but believe me when I say that he has so much more to offer to this world. 🔥🍭❤🎉

@@johnadams8082 Okay, I'll give you that. But there's something special about human-sounding songs instead of perfect pitch. Like that drum machine I used to play with, it was dead on, but it needed that human-feel quality. I've heard Abi sing much higher and quite well, so you should listen to them.

I love Ziggy!! I loved how he said “sorry” and kept singing ❤ and he has such a big personality!

Blake was amazing, his Nana got it right. McCenna has voice I could listen to for hours.

I was really wondering about the no votes for Jack. In my opinion, he was significantly better than at least two of the other contestants who got high praise from the judges. I'm glad to see that the vote was modified to bring him back!

I love how Sam wasn't auditioning like everyone else but was performing i feel that will set him apart from the others. Definitely my favorite right now.

Abi has the most incredible raw vocals to me, McKenna had the emotion that made me tear up, and Jack gave me a sound that I didn't know I needed to hear. I genuinely think out of all of these people that Jack will go the furthest, and I hope he does.

Jack … the best I’ve seen so far and sings an original, and he gets rejected by Perry, it takes all the crew to show her how good he is, thank good the crew recognised talent

Abi's voice just pulls you in and makes you feel something, Makenna sings with so much emotion and passion, Emmy has great artistic choices, Ajii has just so much soul in his voice, there could be several potential winners in this group.

Completely disagree. She is mediocre. Lacks confidence and star quality, especially for American Idol. How is she supposed to preform if she can’t even say her name loud enough in front of 3 people. And, the song she wrote about eating disorders and wanting to be skinny and hating how “god made me” is just down right weird and uncomfortable and not appropriate for a first impression/audition.

I have a cousin who was signed to the Dogers as a pitcher and shortly after he was signed, he injured his arm and his dream was shot 😢 Crazy how life throws things at ya but in the process a new door opens. Unlike so many seasons of Idol with the other hosts, it seems like every season they've had with Lionel, Katy and Luke has gotten better and better singers. THIS group is FINALLY one worthy of an entire American Idol album.

I raised myself too and would really love to see her gain her confidence back and be so proud of who she is again. Ha! Letum talk they aren't where you are Ziggy! I love them all but I can't wait to see this years show.

I love this show, and I love how much of themselves the judges give to the contestants. So much heart.

All these contestants were really good. I also liked how Ziggy didn't loose his momentum when his voice blundered in the middle of the song. Made a quick "sorry" and carried on.

Emmy’s song was so relatable and I loved that Ziggy had a little voice issue there and kept going. It didn’t detract from his performance. No singer is perfect and it showed how great he actually really is, in my opinion. And who cares if people in the Netherlands don’t like you. Stay here! We love you!

The mouth contortions are his artistry and uniqueness. I liked it. This guy was used as a bit of drama by the producers.

My goodness! How Idol outdoes The Voice by such a space as to be amazing! Yes, she has some refinements needed, but for an amateur audition, this was stellar.
