In my opinion Alyssa Raghu made a calculated decision to utilise her ‘best friend’s opportunity to her own advantage. I thought she was at least going to make a case for Julia to sing a second song ~ I would simply never walk in on my sister’s moment to use it for myself… That did not sit right with me at all… wow. She *literally* took the spotlight and had her friend stand to the side in what should have been Julia’s audition moment… nope 😐

Katy & Luke always avoid looking at each other to hold the tears back as much as they can. Also love the looks and sounds the 3 have when they cant hold back the excitement of the talent . Luke's chuckle, Katy's eyes, goosebumps & smile. Lionel's mmm mmm moan sounds and smile. Of course the tears for all when it hits ❤❤

I'm a HUGE KB fan and I just watched the battle between KB and Ragu. Man when I tell you I didn't think I could get any happier watching KB win after seeing this I'm so much happier watching Ragu lose!! Super lame move on her part here.

You can tell most of these people are groomed by years of vocal coaching, not natural talent that the show tries to promote! Not only that they are planted into the crowds of people who think they have a chance… they don’t! Maybe 1 or 2 golden ticket(s) per episode is open the rest are already chosen by the plants the producers have already followed and invited to “audition”.

Utterly despicable how Alyssa Raghu was given a ticket and not her friend! Shame on you judges!!!! I will NOT be watching this season because of this audition.

4:00 when I found out these shows fly contestants in from other countries to compete it lost its charm. I thought it was a genuine talent show but people are scouted to be on the show. I still enjoy it but it's not the same. 😢

they should ban the expression "following my dream" from this programme....

this has turned into a sobbing sad story singing show! they use to draw people in with the auditions themselves now its all about the story behind the audition. Also this show has become so scripted all the "surprise" twists and auditions . i like the show but you cant tell me that the OG American Idol wasnt more real

Totally! All the victims and their stories that overshadow their acts and talents. It should be purely about their voices and their performances. But then again… So many seasons …wash and repeat.. They had to up the game and this is all they could come up with. There are always enough people that buy it.😉
