ABOUT 'GOT TALENT'
Got Talent is a British talent show TV format developed by Simon Cowell's SYCOtv company and owned by Fremantle Media Ltd. It has spawned spin-offs in over 70 countries, in what is now referred to as the 'Got Talent' format, similar to that described by Fremantle of the 'Idol' and 'The X Factor' singing show competition formats. Unlike those shows, Got Talent showcases a wide variety of artistic disciplines in addition to singing.
'Got Talent' was named the world's most successful reality TV format ever by Guinness World Records. Cowell stated, “I am very proud that Got Talent is a home grown British show. We owe its success to a group of very talented producers all over the world who have made this happen. And of course amazing talent.”

@@margaretpigot5503Because the country was founded on a flawed constitution and the politicians refuse to amend that constitution in an ethical way that reflects the morals that said country SHOULD be employing. America's gun culture didn't just happen one day. It was cultivated under a right that should have been scratched out of the constitution decades ago by the very politicians that stand and make speeches about how sad it is that children keep being killed in school shootings. The irony of that makes me just as angry as Katy Perry and I'm not even American.

Katy is right, the government has failed the people. The line in the Constitution granting the right to bare arms refers to state militias which needed to be armed to preserve the freedoms of each state and consequently the whole of the United States. Along with the right to bare arms comes the responsibility to use those weapons only for the defence of the freedom of the USA, the states and individuals. So how does the gun lobby justify the malcontents, the socially maladjusted, the irresponsible and possibly the insane getting access to firearms. The gun lobbyists won't even consider the slightest restriction based on weapon type (assault weapons, really?) or on the demonstrated responsibility of the owner. Why? Because the politicians are cowards who cannot imagine their donations being taken away, even if it means that innocent people and children have their lives taken away. The politicians are either cowards or just plain power greedy. And the only thing that will change the politicians is the will of the people. The people must form their own lobby groups and tell politicians they will not get their vote until they change the law to restrict weapons to responsible people and restrict the type of weapons to the less deadly. Good luck America.

You know what. I am almost 50 years old, I have been in this country a long time. Americans have history. A history of not liking bureaucrats and governments. A history of bending the rules, to make things fairer. Often, you find Robinhoods, who steal and give to the poor. Sometimes, Americans get upset, and an argument will get out of control, and it goes bad. Sometimes, their is desperation, that make some steal, and it goes bad. But what Americans do not do. is go into a school of innocent Children and open fire. So I don't know who these kids are, ..... But they are not American. They have not been raised American, wherever they are from, whatever institution that is raising them, its not an American system.

His story touched me very hard, I lost my precious momma when she was 29 years old and I was 8 years old, my momma had spinal meningitis and when she was 4 years old she had surgery on her back and also had to learn to walk all over again, the Drs told my beautiful grandparents the SM (spinal meningitis) could leave her and she would be fine, or it may not, so on Sept 2,1975 She couldn't take the pain of hurting any longer, and she ended all the pain and hurting and took her own life to stop the pain, I'm not going into detail of how she did it, because that is between me, my daddy and God only....... That story touched me the hardest of them all, because it hit home hard....... But I know one day soon I will see my precious momma and my amazing daddy that I just lost a year this coming August 21st and I was 57....... My heart breaks for anyone that has lost or will lose a loved one to suicide....... But myself I try to stay strong for myself and for my family that I've lost, because the next person could be another family member, a friend or even a stranger, I try my best to help with awareness on suicide and also DM........ My prayers go up very strong for everyone, even strangers daily, we just never know when our time here on this cruel earth is over with and God calls us home with him.......... I had a best friend, he went to Columbine, he actually lost his life for sticking up for someone else. So in my eyes. He is my forever superhero 💖. He died because he wanted to get the shooters attention. And leave the other kids alone. He paid that do with his own life. I hate hearing about this. I mean, it’s not even hard to find those comments, the ones immediately surrounding this one do just that. This isn’t a zero sum game, and the OP is right. The few comments that touch on the kid who had been through a school shooting, most of them have people who pile in to either deliver a big dose of denial, or twist themselves in pretzels to avoid or even justify the heart of the problem while dismissing or completely ignoring the actual victims. So the question to you is: you could have easily made a comment of your own regarding Iam, or any of the other individuals who lost a loved one, why did you choose to instead whatabout someone who chose to comment on the fact that few people seem to give much thought to those who have been through a school shooting.
