My brother did that "watching my stuff " thing. I had just had my molars removed, and something was wrong at the pharmacy so I wouldn't be able to get any oain meds for a couple days. Of Soft things to eat in our house, there were exactly 2 eggs. I started to scramble them, when I suddenly really needed the bathroom. My bother was in the kitchen, so I asked him to keep an eye on the the eggs. I went away for s short time, and when I came back the eggs were a solid black lump. He said "What? I watched them!" I was so mad. I didn't even have a way to get to the store to get more food during those days! 🙄😅😅

I noted that the guy with the genie didn't say, "I wish you'd make me a cup of coffee," he just said, "make me a cup of coffee." If the genie fulfills it, he knows they were telling the truth and he'll let the genie think that was the final wish. If they turn him into a cup of coffee, he can then wish to be put back to normal and then be done with the trickster.

The cake one is exactly what I thought when I saw a cake the other day. Down to the sadness of I can buy a cake whenever I wanted to the realization of cake wasn't the same thing like it used to be and I won't ever let that stop my love for cake.
