Not only did she change their last name but they dropped a family name of the older boy. It's a Jewish tradition to name a child for a relative. She removed the name he was given for one of the father's beloved family member. She also let a family heirloom. It's significance is more than what it was worth. Wendi lied when she said she talked to Danny that morning on the 18th. They supposedly fought over him wanting to take the boys swimming that day. I thought he called her and she didn’t take the call. She returned the call after he was killed. Roshbaum then says to her “you didn’t talk to Charlie that day right?” She says no. She did too! She called him to ask if the tv was worth fixing. Am I wrong?? I don’t think so. .

The ‘bump’ always seemed strange to me. A complete stranger approaches you in the street implicates that you are involved in a murder then hands you a piece of paper and you just calmly place it in your handbag and walk away. She’s making Jeffrey Laccose out to be a mild stalker. His described being over the manipulator in his testimony. She is cunning and calculated in all her responses. Plus trying to sound so very helpful and sweet.

The mother took the note, put it in her pocket. Instead of throwing it away they were all on telephones, there’s just too much evidence against him

Poor kids were in day care all day during the summer when neither of their parents were working. Very sad.

I’ve watched a lot of trials and have never seen someone get away with leading the witness as much as this defence attorney! I cannot understand why the prosecution is not objecting to this. I really hope this jury is not buying this BS or the poor acting from this witness. I hope the whole family goes down for this and Dan’s family gets complete justice! I can’t wait to see what the 3 who are already convicted have to say about this extortion garbage the defence is running with.
