Agree 100! The fact that Wendi was online talking to other men throughout the entire time Wendi was dating Jeffrey. Her statement to Jeffrey about Charlie was told to make Jeffrey look bad as Wendi was thinking Jeffrey was gonna be interrogated as a real suspect as she was unaware Jeffrey had changed his plans and was out of town when the murder occurred. This all shoes Wendy's guilt IMO.

How Wendi is still walking free is beyond me. 😮

So glad to see Prof Jeff LaCasse back. HE BROKE THIS CASE WIDE OPEN 9 YEARS AGO. I was following this case from day one. He’s the most intelligent, authentic witness IVE EVER SEEN EVER ON THE STAND. He said she’s a pathological liar and evil. She tried to set Jeff up for this murder. So much RESPECT FOR THIS MAN. He’s a professor of social work. He’s lost a lot of weight since 9 years ago. Mr. LaCasse didn't specify his reason for leaving on his trip the night before but that change of plans was serendipitous. It didn't dawn on me until he mentioned it, but the cell tower was key to his alibi. Who even thinks about cell tower locations? Mr. LaCasse is a gift for the prosecution. He's bright, articulate, patient and appears to be honest which makes him very believable to the jury. His meticulous attention to detail (he corrected the Defense attorney twice) and documentation of the events makes him a very strong witness. Plus, he wants to be there, he wants to answer questions from both sides to ensure the facts will be made part of the Record. The world needs more people like Jeff LaCasse.

I really think that this man saved his own life by leaving earlier for his trip, because I really think they were trying to frame him for murder. The phone call from Wendi Adelson asking exactly what route he was taking and exactly when he was leaving is not just a coincidence in my opinion. Defense lawyers are unbelievable. This guy is not on trial. He has a solid alibi. Imagine how shocking it would be to slowly realize what happened. Ordinary people don’t even think something like this is possible.

This witness is excellent. Such a nice man. How awful that he was a suspect.

I think that Rashbaum made a huge mistake treating Jeffrey lacasse as a hostile witness. He was not hostile, he is a citizen on the stand telling the truth. I'm sure the Jury didn't like that.

I don’t blame Jeff being scared of the Adelson family

Worth mentioning in case members of the jury don't know: the goal of Rashbaum's strategy of being overly aggressive is to create intimidation in the witness; when a person feels intimidated, they tend to be less honest and forthcoming, and Rashbaum realizes how damning this guy's testimony is for his client. The only card he has left to play is scaring the witness.

Unfortunately the witness is smart and as he says so himself analytical. So his brain is naturally wired to what is being said than how it’s being said. Most folks need time to process a response because we’re careful. But he’s smart cos he formulated his response right away.

Charlies attorney is unlikable, but entertaining. Unfortunately NOT making any of the points he thinks he is making. Often it seems the stuff he brings up, hurts charlie NOT helps him

This gentleman seems to be honest and truthful. Thanks for telling the truth. Justice will be served for victim and family. Sorry for the beautiful children losing their father.

This is such an f’d up situation to think about… she had every intention of this dude taking the fall. He was the first person that either she or Jane brought up in her interrogation. Makes my stomach turn.

I hope he made a good impression on the jury. I believe he was very much taken by Wendi and wanted her much more than she wanted him but I don’t think he would have made up a story.

Very intuitive as he left Thursday evening and didn’t tell a soul. Just very clever and brilliant.

It's distressing listening to Charlie's lawyer badger an innocent man. 😢

Next time I have an urge to leave town a day early, I am leaving....quickly!

This guy seems so nice, I hope he's found someone to have a nice life with.

The entire Adelson family appears to be guilty as heck, Charlie, Wendi and parents were all aware what was going on and helped to make it happen, from Charlie arranging it, the parents paying for it, and Wendi helping to set up a boyfriend.

You're allowed to lead on cross. Not excusing the defense's awful line of questioning and aggression towards the witness, just clarifying a rule of evidence.

That defense attorney really thinks he’s doing something here…he was wrong. The attorney’s over the top attitude just made Lacasse’s calm and straightforward answers even more believable imo.

I like this guy. He is honest about being pathetic, about still be under Wendi’s spell. He is believable‼️‼️‼️

Jeff Lacasse solved the case. This is a good person with excellent analytical skills. Thank you, Jeff!👍

I don't know about that, he was told by friends and a shrink that she was a nut, he experienced her pathological lies and cheating for months, told a detective she was deeply disturbed person, and yet was pursuing her. You want to know why? She was rich, he was not. He only came up with the analysis when he was a suspect.

@@Fedeleness Ahem. I don't think it was money. The murder and her interview woke him up from what he thought was love, but it did take him a little while to disconnect from emotion to rational reasoning and connect the dots. Some still can't connect the dots to believe this family did this.

I think everything he's admitted is probably really difficult for a guy to do especially to the world so I think that fact alone makes him seem genuine and honest.
