Bombshell Video Evidence Shown in Hitman Conspiracy Murder Trial

Ойын-сауық

A special agent involved in the Charlie Adelson murder trial took the stand on Tuesday, explaining key evidence in the investigation, including phone calls between suspects and an event called “The Bump”. This event occurred two years after the homicide of Dan Markel, who was Adelson's ex-brother-in-law, where undercover investigators stopped Donna Adelson on the streets of Miami, enticing her to “take care of” his brother, who he alleged also had involvement in the hit on Markel. Investigators believe Charlie was the mastermind behind Markel's death.

If you were upset that the father of your children passed away the last thing you would want is to dishonor him by taking his name from his children. Wendi claims she wanted to be a mother but if that's what she wanted she had every opportunity to do just that, she wanted the attention and praise that came with being a high profile attorney and she wanted Donna to meticulously raise her sons the way she did her and her siblings. Too bad she will never have a better career than Dan Markel that was part of the problem from the beginning she was jealous of his career although Dan did promise to move to Miami after the boys were born so she could go after the better paying positions she wanted, but she wouldn't express herself. Even at their wedding she didn't want Dan's achievements mentioned so in their marriage article in the newspaper she didn't take on his name and it only mentioned her achievements. She knew he was way smarter than her lol.

None of this: "who are you? I'm calling the cops" "I don't know what you're talking about" "I think you've got the wrong person" She didn't even stop to read the note. When you don't know what was handed to you, you look at it to find out. She tucked it in her purse like she knew she needed to get it out of sight.

For Donna Adelson to say "it involves the two of" and "you probably have a pretty good idea what i'm talking about" gives it away. This entire family should all be charged!! I believe Wendy knew everything from the beginning. Also, why wouldn't Charlie go to the police after Catherine told him who killed Dan? He said he thought it would come out?? Who does that? Also, he didn't go to the Memorial held in Florida - HUGE RED FLAG as well.

What is the evidence that Wendi or her father had anything to do with it? Why should they be charged? Your abject speculation isn't a basis to charge someone with a crime.

@@Panhandlers007 I don't know if she did or not. She very well may have, but it is quite plausible that she didn't. I am completely unconvinced either way. What I actually addressed is that even if she was the mastermind behind the whole thing, as things stand now, there is no actual evidence that she had anything to do with it. All there is right now regarding her guilt are guesses and conjecture. There is no actual evidence at all, at least any that has been made public, and if they had any, they would have brought it out by now, I have to believe. They desperately wanted to convict Charlie, and spent a lot of time and money to do so. It took 9 years from the killing. There is no way they held anything back. The only thing that could be added now to get Wendi, assuming she was in on it, is accomplice testimony, which isn't terribly compelling and is almost never enough to convict someone, even where it is allowed (and it is allowed in Florida). Plus, I can't believe Charlie or Donna are going to say anything against her in the first place. As things are now, I don't think Wendi will ever even be arrested, let alone convicted of anything, even if she was part of it. It is quite possible no one will ever know if she was.

@@Panhandlers007 LOL. It is always humorous when people claim to know something and simultaneously announce that they aren't going to offer the slightest argument to back up their claim. You are apparently stating that you would vote to convict her, even though there is no actual evidence that demonstrates her guilt, at least as things stand right now. Why did you jump in and ask me anything if you weren't going to give the slightest basis for your opinion after I replied?

She does fine, but she could do without the "smartass." But that is what you too often get in high profile trials like this... prosecutors putting on shows because they know how many people are going to see/hear them. Don't get me wrong... she is nowhere near as bad as the like of Juan Martinez from the Jodi Arias trial... but the "look at how cute and clever I am" comments don't wear well for her.

That isn't crazy for you to say. It is believable that she saw so many movies, and ID channel and Dateline episodes that she thought she could pull it off. There is a Law & Order episode that comes to mind, in which an old lady puts out a hit on her former daughter in-law's new husband, because the old lady is sure that he killed the old lady's son. Her motivation is different than Donna's, but there is still a similarity, including that a cop (Lenny Briscoe) posing as a criminal plays a key part in her undoing. It was a very good episode that shifts gears a bit from the normal procedure of the show. The new husband DOES go on trial for killing the old lady's son, even though that isn't what the focus of the episode appears to be for quite a while. (I just looked it up... the episode is called "Legacy")
