I'm glad you've found yourself in a much better place. Does your other half play with just the nids or do you have a shared collection? I hope you didn't get too far through your valentine's game. 😉

The psycho thing is likely because casual sex creates the connection and happiness hormones, but with no actual connection or reason for happiness. Thus creating an empty husk, like being dependent on drugs. I feel for the guy who got blamed by the girl for her actions, my ex cheated on me then blamed me too. I had a bit of a mope seeing her and the guy at a music night, she came and tried to act friendly, then my sister pulled out a chunk of her hair. Not an ounce of satisfaction came to me, because deep down i still had love there. Im guessing this guy did in a way too

Been binging these hobby nightmares today, and they’ve been great , North you sound like my kind of guy, your reactions simply have me in stitches and you seem to respond mostly how I’m thinking, The guy from the first story needs to wife Lita ASAP! To the guy in the second story, I think ending the session by blowing Mikey’s brains out was perfectly fitting, and he should’ve known better, having grown up with the setting, not to mention fucking hilarious well done , I’m sorry to hear that you’re wife filed for divorce, If you don’t want it to be over, it doesn’t have to be I was in the same boat and turned it around I recommend reading or listening to a book called the five love languages by gary chapman, it’s even on KZread as an audio book it’ll take about 5 hours, but talk to you wife about it, tell her how to feel and take it from there, even get her to read it if you can that’s what I did, it’s a best seller and has helped thousands of people all over the world, don’t give up, unless it’s what you want. May all your 20s be natural, unless you’re playing the 2d20 system

Feral dogs are horrid to live by, My neighbours dog sits in her tiny kitchen for 8 to 20 hours a day barking constantly and it has made me hate dogs so much! Pets and kids should require an IQ test.

34:99 The proper counter for this for this moment of pseudo-enlightenment is: "But how then could you be anything else either?" That puts the player in a bind where either he has to respect the vileness of the setting, or he has to acknowledge that other people can be multifaceted or even be good in all regards of their circumstances. Believe it or not, D&D had its roots in therapeutic roleplaying, to teach people the ability to see things from other people's perspective. Most bad players (emotionally immature/narcissistic/worse) are incapable of that, which usually shows in their inability to distinguish between themselves and their characters (any damage to the character is taken as a personal injury, any skill-check missed is the end of the world and reality should change, the DM is thought of as oppressive (the DM being the representative for God/The mean uncaring material universe that refuses to yield to magical subjective will of the narcissist). Hence these types can only play themselves, and since they always know better they have to rewrite reality (replace the DM/God with themselves because objective reality) is a bigot who doesn't let them have their candy and get away with their power fantasy. Just remember the Tiefling Bard. Any parallels with other Lefty behaviours is purely totally coincidental, I am totally sure... (mind you, when the pendulum swings, these types will turn up on the other side in the next generation - they haven't developed actual morals themselves, only adopted teams. Whoever gets to them first and tells them how they are good people by following this or that dogma, or how following this or that list of dogmata allows them to fulfil their carnal desires and get away with it, they will follow that and nothing else until they have their moment of awakening - which is a very very rare thing sadly and usually requires reality throwing such a massive brick in the face that t cannot be denied and all life irreversible breaking apart around them, forcing them hard into reevaluation of everything. That very act of reflection is what minds like theirs always avoid, for it is painful even on the small daily scale that healthy people do it; and if there is one thing these types are, it is massively pain avoidant. To say it in the words of Zen-Buddhist Taisen Deshimaru Roshii: "Socialism is greedy materialism for emotional comfort." A movement made up of habitual and pathological liars will always lie about everything, including their stated goals, their promises, it'll always be fake candy. Whether the movement was created by them or captured and originally at some point something positive (which thus cannot be salvaged again in most cases, but people still cling to that false hope). Suffice to say, I do not care whether my (as of yet hypotheticalsadly ) kids would get abused by the church, the state or or some other cult/ideology. The abuse is the abuse. It's the same. Whether the ice level now has a lava-level texture over it, or desert or forest, the geometry is still the same. The paintjob doesn't change the substance. The paintjob is the accident, the abuse is the substance. I digress into philosophy again... damn that autism. Then again that is the only thing that can really protect us against this nonsense, and in some instances help those captured by ideology, sophistry, out of it if offered. - and most of all, inoculate our children against capture by it. Which is likely why it's not taught in public school. Not anymore. It was once, not even that long ago, in the first half of the last century. Any honest, serious, political party would push for taking it back up on the curriculum. That is what pressure must be enacted by the citizens to ensure the next generation. Yet a thinking, able to think, knowhing how thinking works, citizen, is not easy to control, not easy to emotionally manipulate and propagandize and thus not in the interest of a corrupt government - or cult for that matter. p.s.: The auto-correct keeps highlighting the word "paintjob"; how is that not a compound word in English!?

D&D has its roots in wargaming, not therapeutic conflict resolution. It is used in therapy sometimes, but that's not where it started. Also, please don't use autism as an excuse to post political BS.

It's the hardest skill to learn when it comes to relationships, and you have to learn it by going through hell. But when you get to the point where you can just say "Ok" and carry on, you know you've got yourself sorted. A woman should add to your life that you've built yourself, not be your life.
