On the nut allergy one, most people don’t have an allergy to *all* nuts. He probably just got lucky and doesn’t have a hazelnut allergy in particular

It might be only peanuts because they aren't true nuts, so people can have just an allergy to them and not tree nuts like hazelnuts.

Yeah, if he's been eating them I'd have her call him (if possible) and ask if he ever feels ill after eating them. If not, I'd go ahead and put them on the cake because clearly he isn't allergic to hazelnuts. It's important to remember that "nut" doesn't always refer to closely related plants. So being allergic to one nut doesn't always mean you'll be allergic to another.
@pigcatapult

@@catpoke9557NOOOOOOOO Absolutely not - per the flower one, a baker is not a doctor: send the kid to the Drs to check he's not allergic to hazelnuts and then go from there.
@catpoke9557
Ай бұрын
@@obliviouz Uh... It's not about her being a doctor or not. It's about the kid having been eating hazelnuts for years and never having symptoms. Not every nut is closely related. Not every nut is even a nut. He might be allergic to a specific type of nut or a specific group of nuts that doesn't include hazelnuts, or he might not even be allergic to nuts at all and rather something commonly called a nut. Keep in mind, you can be allergic to a fruit and still be able to eat apples, because a fruit is not all fruits. He clearly isn't allergic to hazelnuts or if he is, not in the same way as his other allergy. If someone said they were allergic to apples you wouldn't be scared of giving them oranges, for example. There is clearly some sort of misunderstanding on the mom's part on what her son's allergy is. He's probably not allergic to true nuts but rather to peanuts and potentially other legumes.

I grew up fundamentalist Christian where everyone was incredibly homophobic. I had my Care Bears and Rainbow Bright taken away. Avoiding rainbow anything became second nature until I deconstructed and left the faith. When I was learning how to be a good Ally I realized that I needed to question my subconscious decisions that I’d been conditioned into making because of my upbringing. I was a teenager before the LGBT community used a rainbow flag. My mother decorated my room in rainbows. I had sheets with rainbow stripes, she used a set of the sheets to make curtains, with a pull shade behind. Another sheet she stretched over a canvas at an ark to make a rainbow.🌈 And she found a poster cut out of an actual rainbow, it was huge. Give my mother a theme to work with, and step back. If the LGBT community had claimed rainbows as theirs before this... I don't think my mother would have questioned using rainbows. But she might have been able to find more things with rainbows on them. I chose rainbows because I was an art student for 5 years at the time, and loved all of the colors. I had a hard time picking a color for my new room, so I said I want all of the colors, I want a rainbow. Funny how times have changed. Something as beautiful as a rainbow is denied to children because they might turn out different than the parents hoped for. I turned out just fine; well, except for my husband and I were never blessed with children. But I'd never blame a rainbow for that. Everytime it rains I still search the sky looking for a rainbow. *Too bad your overly religious parents forgot in the Bible it tells us the rainbow is a promise from God, that he will never again try to kill all of us with flooding. Rainbows are a promise from God.* 🌈 Your church doesn't read the whole Bible, just the parts it agrees with? SMH. Take care stay safe have a nice day. 👵☮️🖖

You are a saint because if it was me, I don’t think I would have many customers left you ask me stupid questions you get stupid answers
When the girl on the bakery is prettier than a top model. Also, man I worked as a baker too, the amount of people that try to get the recipes is crazy
gotta love ignorant customers!

Honestly didn't know it was hazelnut when I had them initially and couldn't figure out why I got sick off them...then I found out after a few times and went "oh." We have a nut intolerance/allergy in our family, with us all having different nuts we react to, whether just intolerance (like me) or anaphylaxis like others. It wasn't till I was an adult and coworkers were complaining about my banana bread not having nuts that I connected the dots....mom *never* made food or treats with nuts for us or school events. If nuts were in the house they were the few we could all eat in the early days before my sibling had anaphylaxis during the holidays.

Am I the only one who thinks they're overrated af and kinda gross??

Or it's possible the child is only allergic to peanuts, so he doesn't normally react to tree nuts like hazelnuts.
Literally baffles me when a customer pays top dollar to turn a chef inspired journey to a foreign land through the interpretation's as told by the human sense of taste, into a midwestern meat-and-potatoes.
Not all flowers are toxic. Some are commonly eaten, in fact. Rose hips are quite tasty.

The point is that some are toxic, and people should check that before putting them into their food.

She knows- she sometimes puts flowers on her cakes I think. It's these particular flowers that seemed to make everyone sick

Just found this AMAZING 🥰 channel & have subscribed!! I love this
I love ur videos but also can we have 10 mins long skit type of videos u used to make before back ?!! They're so soothing and nice ...
Remembering your previous bit refusing to serve a homophobe a red cake because it's the "R" in "ROY G BIV," I would have loved to have seen you go equally technical this time, maybe count and name each color of sprinkle on the egg-free cake, one at a time, and conclude that it's not a full rainbow or that it includes pink which is not in the rainbow or something like that, just to see this person's head explode.😂🎉 🌈
My favorite that I got personally was 'So you can fix anything right?' 'I can fix anything in this building.' 'Ok well in 6 months we'll up your pay and promote you to a higher hourly position.' 'Ok cool.' -5 months 3 weeks and a day and a half short of 6 full months 'Sorry but we have to let you go...' 'Did I do something wrong??' 'You cost us to much.'
Not me eating flowers from my yard…. They are in fact edible though!
50? The child needs glasses or has the youngest looking uncle in the world. If I were guessing your age 20 would be the highest I would go and owning your own shop is great.

@@cadewynnttv1627 Everyone else IS super old if you are 8!!!! Seems like for most people, regardless of age, everyone older than they are is "old" and everyone younger than they are is "young".
Wow I've never been this early to a video... jeez!
That kid was just too real
I eat wild flowers all the time. The difference is that i can identify each one and know which ones are edible and/or medicinal, and which ones are not. I really wish more people had this knowledge.

She surely is. I think it's even cooler that she owns a bakery at age 20! Wish I had that kind of sense when I was 20😂
"I do not support rainbows"
I like that when she's working, all the customers are her twins, must be a family business.
Customers definitely are a strange bunch haha I love your accent by the way!
I feel so bad for you. But I'm glad for a new form of content!
I can listen to her lovely voice all day..
I didn't know egg allergies were that common I always thought i was weird for being allergic to only raw eggs
Thank you for all your videos! They are not only entertaining and well played. They also are educational as they are teaching us a part of what it is like to run your own business. It's the small and medium sized businesses that are the back bone of our economy, that provide us with goods and services. They deserve mire respect for all the hard work and taking risks. The business owners are not the rich exploiters. And it wouöd be perfectly ok if all the hard work and taking risks leads to a good income. It would be well deserved. So I wish you success in all you are doing.

Btw: as you mentuoned your bakery is in Ireland it occurs to me that you are not from Ireland. You don't even sound to coke from anyway near of Ireland. Not Scotland, not northern england, not the melodic welsh, not London. I'd think you are from southern England. Not that it matters nor that I am a genius. I as a non native speaker from Germany I like to figure out from about where someone might be.. just for the riddle it is to me.
The nut one had me in stitches 😂
The rainbow sprinkles one made me cackle lmaooo
Meanwhile in the background big sprinkle is laughing maniacally about their sales
The way she talks is so satisfying
thanks for making me laugh today
Omfggggggg the one about the sprinkles!!!! It triggers me on a different level, cause honestly wtfff? Ive experienced that same situation so many times! Like just eat the fkn cake.
That's why I will never do a food business
Lmao the last one had me dying
They say sprinkles in Ireland like in the US? It does make more sense than hundreds and thousands

you can say both, they mean the same thing. Also it only really works for the tiny ball shaped rainbow ones.
