"Weird Al" Yankovic - The Hamilton Polka

Комедия

Here's a video for "The Hamilton Polka" that I put together using clips from the new "Hamilton" movie (which is streaming right now on Disney+)! Huge thanks to Lin-Manuel, Tommy Kail, and the rest of my Ham pals for creating the best thing ever.

This is mind-blowing. Like not everybody is going to realise the skill required to do all of this, especially if they don't know the show/music as well. Hamilton is a notoriously tricky show vocally, and not only did he speed it up in places, but did all the parts and harmonies. This is why he has been in the industry so long, not only his great and palatable songs, but the talent and creativity behind it all. Often times parody and comedy art takes more skill than people give it credit for.

Far too many people fail to grasp the pure genius of Weird Al. They just think "he's weird" and that's as far as they go. Take for instance his song "Bob", it's a song made up of nothing but palindromes and it also happens to sound just like Bob Dylan singing. There are so many hidden layers to Al's songs that many people won't give it a chance and just write it off as "stupid."
