Welcome to Week 1 of the Health & Wellness Lab's 12 Week Exercise Oncology Program! In Week 1 Tanya takes you through some introductory exercises in three circuit style rounds adapted from our evidence based ACE Baseline program for individuals living with cancer.
You are intended to complete each week's video in this series twice a week for the program's 12 week duration. Circuit 1:
Sit-to-Stand
Wall Pushups
High Knees / Jogging on the Spot
Circuit 2:
Scapular Retraction
Single Leg Balance
Butt Kicks
Circuit 3:
Core Engagement (Alternative: Standing Core Engagement)
Glute Bridges (Alternative: Standing Glute Kickback)
