Cracking eggs on a corner of something makes shell come away from the white membrane. Cracking eggs on a flat surface help the shell stay attached to the membrane preventing the shell from ending up in the egg you are cooking. Learnt that trick years ago while watch some random French chef on tv at around 3am some random morning

Or you buy smaller packs of rice, cook the whole pack in a ricecooker and then freeze the leftovers to mikrowave later. Ricecooker I find is anyways the most underused kitchen utensil in western kitchens I can think of. I recently got one for my mom, and she find it too be super convenient. It’s so much easier than to use a pan. I have mine since 7 years and it works a Charme. You can also throw in some quinoa and lentils and cook it all together, put some sauce and few veggies and you have a full meal that almost cooked itself :) If you feeling really fancy and have a bigger model you can even use the steam from the rice to steam your veggies while you cooking the rice inside of the cooker

Alternatively get a milk bottle and cut it like the coke bottle was and pull the hole in the packet through the hole in the milk bottle and then close the bottle top over it. You can pour it through the milk bottle hole and reseal it

Instead of slamming the knife blade down on the stone, I find it easier to gently press it into the stone, then when the knife is pressed in about half an inch I go ahead and twist it and remove the stone. Especially if it’s a paring knife or something, it’s so much easier and much less likely to result in a missing appendage

@@pennyhero7873 Sadly, the lion mark doesn’t protect you from everything. Having kept chickens which were all vaccinated against salmonella I can tell you that the bacteria on the shells can make you unwell. Think about where that egg just came from and how often you see “free range” eggs with feathers or droppings stuck to them. Here is the U.K. government advice : Avoiding the spread of bacteria. Bacteria can spread very easily from eggs to other foods, as well as hands, utensils and worktops. There can be bacteria on the eggshell as well as inside the egg, so take care when handling them. These tips can help avoid the spread of bacteria: Keep eggs away from other foods, both when they are in the shell and after you have cracked them. Be careful not to splash egg onto other foods, worktops or dishes. Always wash and dry your hands thoroughly after touching eggs or working with them. Clean surfaces, dishes and utensils thoroughly, using warm soapy water, after working with eggs. Don't use eggs with damaged shells, because dirt or bacteria might have got inside them

On the bag hack, I have learned from making gingerbread houses using an icing tip and a plastic bag. First cut a tiny hole then force the tip though expand the plastic and creating a seal. then wrap a twist tie around it to hold it in place. I regards to the bottle you could do the same thing with the bag but if the plastic is not stretchy then cut a hole about the size of the cap and when cutting the bottom leave about 1/4th inch around the end and push it though the opening the bag should grip the bottle because of the thinner part between the lip and the start of the container.

I use that melting a bottle cap onto a bag. You have to have a lot of patience so you don't melt holes in it. Use the heat of the flame not the flame itself. Or just use tape. You actually need to have a lot more patience. With that cheese hotdog you need to wait for the cheese to brown and crisp before flipping them you get a crunchy browned cheese crust. I use breakfast sausage and pancakes with pepperjack.

Sprinkle the potato wedges lightly with powdered Ranch Dressing mix before baking.

And for the hotdogs and bread you should have used a hard cheese that turns crispy when pan fried, that may have been an improvement.

@@mrbarrylewis You don't need an excuse for looking that fly dude. My brother has a fabulous collection of button up shirts covered in ALL SORTS of stuff. (He took his inspiration from Winston on New Girl). It's a good look!

You can use a angel food cake pan for the corn too! Been doing that one for years to process corn for freezer or canning.

That rice bag hack reminds me of the coffee bag clip I 3d printed. Came with a screw on cap, just pour out the coffee. The plastic and lighter trick only works on thermoplastics closer to MDPE plastics, which shrink wrap is made out of, rather than LDPE that most packages of that nature are made out of. It can shrink, but it's way too easy to go over with the method used

Mrs B is cool! You are a good team, and Hannah and Chloe are great, it's nice to see you encouraging them to try food and help you. 👍🙂 I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far, not sure about these hacks though. A toaster is just for toast. I'm a toast freak. Thanks for making me laugh so much. Do you think you could do some meat alternatives meals? Not just the usual things, & not mimic beef burgers etc.. I mean try and find natural foods that can replace meat? Also how about taste testing shop cereal , bread, etc verses branded? Best wishes🤔🤭😏
