    The best way to repeat a pizza is to just reheat it in a dry frying Pan with i lid untill it gets a crusty bottom. It is also the way i bake my own homemade pizzas, i make a simple flatbread and use that as the pizza base. And just fry the pizza untill the cheese has melted.

    For the pizza instead of holding it , put the steamer directly on it. I remember before you use the foil for toasting a cheese sandwich on an iorn.

    The only way to reheat a pizza is in a dry frying pan with a sprinkle of water to wet the base and a lid on a low to medium heat until it looks right on top.

    I was just going to suggest this! Breakfast pastries like waffles, pancakes, and French toast freeze beautifully, then reheat easily in the oven, pan, toaster, or microwave. Just make a bunch when you have time and package in individual servings in freezer bags.

    Plus cooking them first means no spilling liquid batter into the bottom of your freezer. I usually microwave them at 50% for about a minute, then toast and it works like a charm.

    The measuring spoon divot trick is somewhat useful if, say, you only have one set of measuring spoons and don't want to do washing up in the middle of a recipe. It's especially nice for viscous liquids such as oil or various sweet syrups, molasses, honey, and so on.

  • @annedemarie7480
    @annedemarie7480 Жыл бұрын

    The first one is mostly useful for if you need honey or something else sticky to a mixture while there is still a layer of flour in the bowl so you place the tablespoon in the flour and then squeeze the honey in that dome so you know you get the exact amount of honey

    I am thinking that the iron toast would work better under a broiler. Then you could do that toast in batches, too. Also, I am wondering if the frozen pancake batter would work well if the mold was only half filled, or less, and you actually baked it in the mold, instead of frying. You could also just make a pancake, freeze it, then defrost it in the toaster.

    The first one, with the spoon... I think the hack is about saving time. You'd need to wash the spoon each time after each ingredient or use multiple ones, which would still mean more stuff to wash after.

    Mr and Mrs Barry! Always love these videos with you and the family. A suggestion for the pancakes is to cook them lower and slower or even put them on a sheet pan and bake them in the oven! Also, the toast pattern hack works if you turn the iron upside down and then put the bread on top of the iron so you don't smash the bread. I also would like to see more family videos. Have more vids with your kids and the whole family. My nieces and nephews love watching your videos with me when you have your kids helping. I envision students asking parents for steamers all accross the country. Funny story, i bought a steamer recently. As a disabled person i thought it would be easier to "iron" a single item than getting a board out. Plus its smaller, lighter and cord free than my iron. The first time i plugged it in it sparked and went poof. I think it was the plug socket i used. I no longer "iron" my clothes. But now i realise i cant reheat pizza either! 🤣

    The best way to reheat pizza is a quick spin in the microwave, just to warm it through a little (this is more for the toppings); then cook it crust side down on a really hot non stick pan until the base has gone nice and crispy again - just like it was fresh out of the pizza oven.
