We Spent 20 Hours in a Chinese Train (Panjin to Suzhou) 🚆

Our trip from Panjin to Suzhou was the longest train ride we took throughout our two month travel through China. It took us a full 20 hours in the train! It was definitely an experience. The day after we arrived back in Suzhou it was my birthday so we celebrated by getting donuts :D
I will be making a dedicated video about taking the train in China later on :)

That is why the country is still developing. Come back in 10 years and see how much it will be charged. You probably have no idea how it was 10 years ago. I live in the States and commute on a daily basis. People speak loudly and listen to music with their earbuds on but loud enough to disturb others ocurr often.

Why didn’t you fly? Avoid the slow train at all costs, unless you can get a fist class sleeper ticket. Those are good.

This type of train is powered by diesel engine, and its no longer exist after the whole high speed network is done (before 2022). Meanwhile, the people you guys met on the train were considered as "Lower class people", because they are less educated, and they earn much less salaries compared to the average. Most of them couldn't afford HSR tickets for such a long journey. You have to know, Polarization is a thing in China. By the way, China has a list of rich and developed cities, especially the cities in Yangtze Delta, and pearl river delta, and Municipalities of course. The city (盘锦)you've been to is a 4th tier city which is fairly undeveloped in Chinese Standard. I'm not trying to be aggressive, but plz do not generalize that one place or one journey as a whole!

Thank you for your comment! We're not generalising. As you can see from our previous videos, we have been many places in China. We took these trains often and don't mind it at all! We also took the HSR often. This video is only about this train ride, not a generalisation of all train rides in China :)
