For those who didn't see the stream, right before the AI invasion, Parkzer had to use the bathroom, causing Chat to go crazy over "PARKZER CHAIR!" Then, Doug had to go to the bathroom, making Chat think they were going to have a double chair stream, but then Parkzer came back, and Chat got upset, being robbed of the double chair stream. But then, Parkzer saw Chat, said "Ah, my mistake. Carry on." Then left again, finally giving Chat the fabled *DOUBLE CHAIR STREAM!* (At least, that's what I remember.) Also, this was the first time I've ever really donated to any charity. It was only $5, but I was more than happy to. Happy belated birthday, Rosa!

Hi, someone who is currently trying to get their degree in accounting here. The transaction would be a single journal entry; record an increase in cash and an increase in revenue. Since the money was donated, the cash will be sent to a specific account reserved for certain uses (Moneray Bay cannot buy a lambo with the money). The next time the accounts will have to worry about the donation is at the end of the year when they have to summarize all the cash they received (both from donations and customers). It would be pretty similar to if the donation was of $20. I wouldn’t get more detailed than that because I would need more than a single comment to do that lol.

While we can be sad, we can also celebrate Rosa’s incredible life, from how much she accomplished for the species of Sea Otter, to the fact that she lived almost 5 years over her average life expectancy! Rosa was one of, if not the most influential otter of all time, and I can’t wait to celebrate her life this year as well.

fun fact, rosa is 9 years older than the average otter and 2 years older than the oldest ever male sea otter!

Rip Rosa, she died this Wednesday at 24. She helped raise numerous orphaned pups and saved the sea otter population.

These yearly streams/videos never fail to bring a tear to my eye. Seeing the entire DougDoug community, normally so chaotic and rambunctious, come together to do something so wholesome is just.... it's just heart-warming. To Doug, Monterey Bay Aquarium, to the entire DougDoug community and of course to Queen Rosa herself... thank you!

My friend and I were the two in that one TTS near the end who donated to “stick it to Google” but we were both genuinely so happy to get to donate and be a part of something this meaningful. Afterwards we were running on the high of how proud we were of this community even though it was 2AM and we both had to be up the next morning. This is one of the best communities I’ve ever been a part of and I’m so proud to be a part of this with all of you guys and Doug and Parkzer and everybody involved and especially our queen Rosa!

RIP Rosa, Rosa was such a great otter and it is so sad to see her no longer with us.

I grew up as a kid going to monterey bay aquarium. So happy to see my life come full circle with DougDoug, a youtuber who used to LIVE in my local town, support a familiar organization that i believe is great for rehabilitating and help with publicity. Much love Doug

Only doug is the type of guy to dress up in a sea otter, take a bite out of a raw crab carapace, and break off into a full sprint into the pacific ocean just for a sea otters birthday. He's the best.

As someone who went to the monteray bay aquarium several times as a teenager, seeing Doug Doug do this is alway warms my heart

It really warms my heart seeing people also just finding animals the most adorable things ever, and to see people donating to places like this! Without animals, there is no Earth! Interspecies interactions and how everyone is affected is very complicated and interesting

These two streams were incredibly fun, I’m glad I was able to be apart of them for Rosa! Seeing my art on stream was surreal too, even if it didn’t get featured I was so damn happy. Rosa deserves everything and more
