It's why I attend the Geneva Convention every year, it's great to meet up with all the war crime streamers.

I don't know much about rimworld, so the reveal that chat could talk through the characters being done through a pet cobra saying "I want weed and a gun" was perfect.

A group of people charging another group of people while shouting "For the weed!" Is a situation I have actually experienced before. Except in this case both groups had already smoked weed and the shout was very low energy

Fun fact: displaying a red cross is a war crime, because it's considered impersonating a medic. Several games have done this, such as Stardew Valley and Yu-Gi-Oh on the card Injection Fairy Lily

no. only displaying it in combat with the intent of deception is a war crime. and proving intent is almost impossible. so as almost all other geneva convention war crimes, its a worthless platitude that at BEST can only be levelled against weak and poor nations.

@@fl3m1n9o4 Good question! The answer is no because the flag of England reaches the end of the flag and is the flag for a single nationality. Meanwhile the red cross doesn't reach the end of the flag, the cross's points are of equal end, and it is a flag recognized internationally

I believe that any use of the symbol that isn't authorised and for medical purposes is a violation of the Geneva convention, even completely private use, though I'm not 100 percent sure of that. In video games you'll often see a white cross on a red background to avoid this.

There is a mod for this game that has twitch integration already, it lets the chat vote on the next disaster and spend channel points to spawn items and trigger events

I got mad that doug couldnt do "basic" things but then I remembered I have over 300 hours on the game

There is a twitch integration mod that lets people vote on and spawn events. (Things like raids, meteor storms, and whatnot)

Rimworld is an art form that most cannot understand. It is those who do things like this that makes the game enjoyable and understandable for everyone else. Hey Doug, if you’re wondering why your colonist with guns just stood there while being beat, it’s because you have to be at least 3-4 steps away from them. If the enemy in your colonist’s face, the colonist will have to melee instead. When you see the enemy getting closer, back up and try getting behind something.

All the more reason why watching joke playthroughs like this is a little painful

It was painful seeing as how the final Man in Black was literally faster than the bear but because of suboptimal movement on DougDoug's part, Twitch Chat's glorious colony was destroyed..by two high-as-kites bears.

Hey dougdoug for the past 5 months I've been barely keeping myself alive and your a huge part of keeping me here. Without you and your entertainment/distractions I wouldn't have continued, I'm still struggling with it and I don't know if I will continue to go on. Either way thank you so so much for being yourself and for providing all of us with something to pass the time, I hope your enjoying making the content as much as I enjoy watching it bc you deserve to be happy.

The editing is amazing on this vid, it’s super good

Doug do be laughing at "Damaging the weed is a warcrime", but TBH it is. Causing unnessesary enviromental or crop destruction is a warcrime. So if you go and blow up a farmer's tree or weed, you did a warcrime.

I don't know, between these and the warcrimes commited by Luther the Terrible, Twitch Chat actually seems rather sane and reasonable
