Did anyone else notice the squirrel jump into the truck @9:25 😂 he wants to go for a rip too 😂😅😊
Anyone else notice the squirrel in the shop @ 9:22..lol. Hes on the left side of the truck on the floor. He jumps into the wheel well of the truck when JH is looking at the headlights. Now we know why JH has been knocking projects out so fast lately.
We havent seen a lot from Squirrel since George started working for Cleetus, but now we now where he is @9:22. Hes been helping Justin knock the projects out!
because it is a mud truck, maybe it is possible to place the air filter in the passenger cabin through the fire wall, it certainly cannot suck in rubbish there
Hey man. It’s your truck. People can back seat drive tune or modify. But you know your truck. No one knows how it drives or feels or runs like the guy in the drivers seat brother. And on the plus side hammering it out to get it right and testing makes that much more content. I reallly enjoy your channel especially because at times it feels like garrets channel a few years ago when they were tearing apart ruby and Leroy’s motors in the shop with fasterproms. Do your thing brother.
Here's an idea for the Breather Tube. pipe it through into the cab That way it stays completely dry if what you did does not work
If that filter don’t work run the pipe in to the cab to a cooler full of ice lol. Great work guys
Don't sweat all the "comments" and every body's 2c on do this or do that BS... Most of us know, this is racing and running hard on motors and it's not easy. It's hours and hours of building, testing, breaking and repeat! Love the content, keep it coming. Build, have fun, break it, fix it, repeat. It's a hobby and that's half the fun. Can't wait to see what it does in the next bog!
That squirrel likes it too aye lol 9:24
I am so happy yall painted the frame and inside fender wells on the chevy conversion, makes it look really good. Can’t wait to see it finished. Need to let same clean up that paint though, it would look awesome brother.
That chipmunk sneaky gonna chew up your wires and reclaim his home 🤣
I like seeing the problems and the way you guys solve them! I am fascinated by people's problem-solving skills!
Loving the progress reports. As far as the diesel thing, I love the variety. Take a truck and make it party. Diesel is cool, but so are gas builds. Keep doing what you do boys, we love it all!!
Justin, when you put those new style headlights in the squares make sure to just upgrade the 3 wire plugs to them or else if you run them long enough they’ll melt the original wiring. I bought a new plug from oreilly and put a resistor in. It melted my stock wiring. That was in 2012 though lol. Hopefully everything will be good with them
Holley lights are so good. You can see what you can't stop for.

Lol
I like the holley lights a lot. I had the square ones in my old s10. They're expensive, but they keep the stock look while being stupid bright.
9:22 Sweet shop squirrel y'all got lol
Great video thank you 😊 If you have any further issues with the air filter getting wet it's pretty nicely placed to add a snorkel style coming straight out the front fender and up the door pillar
Hey, Justin! EVERY good mudder knows, that when you have a gasoline engine, or even a diesel, that's used as strictly a mud truck, that you make a "hat" that ends with the air cleaner being INSIDE the cab of the truck. It prevents any chance for dirt to get in your intake, or mud, as well. Good luck, partner.

Yes all my mud trucks I run the intake into the cab with big pvc pipe. With his dual carbs it's a little bit harder but still just run a y pipe

Agreed. Air intake plumbed to the interior. Keep your AC cold and enjoy that clean crisp air

At 9:25 a shop squirrel came out of the parts pile 😂 Florida is wild.
9:22 left on the screen, off the 2 post lift arm. I like your pet squirrel. Probably hiding his nuts in the Chevy 😄.
9:21 wtf is the squirrel doing lol...
That squirrel was chilling when they installed the new lights and turned them on 😂
It would big be sick if you did a podcast or a video with some of owners of those old school mega trucks like construction development, papa Smurf, liva killa. Kinda like a where are they now series
Hell yeah! Keep up that good work JH
The square body is going to be sick! I like your thought process on Ron full day player but higher wheel speed is needed to clean out the tires can’t wait to see it in action!
Have fresh air the whole time
Man you got a shop squirrel😂😂
I want a set of those Holley retro bright headlights in yeller instead of the blue/white.......that air intake on Ron is what I expected from a mud truck. Solid
I don’t know why jh doesn’t have more subscribers by now. Great content

Because not everyone likes the content lol.not hard to figure out
The CD truck was insane 💪💪💪
Crazy to me the jh channel only has 211k followers! Honestly one of my top channels to watch, i feel like these guys are so underrated! Keep on doin what you guys do and hopefully you’ll get the recognition you guys deserve.
@JH-- IF you do end up putting in a 2000 horsepower big block then Ron Burgundy becomes Richard Skimmin's 🎉
Oh that square body is going to be sick. Definitely one of my favorite trucks are square bodies. Good job ladies keep up the hard work Justin I wish I could say the same for you. JH you’re pretty good at running that mouth though. America 🇺🇸 💪🏼🦅🛠️
Great content thanks for sharing
All JH content is awsome content yeeeeeeeyeeeeeeee
If you stick with carb setup, I would recommend an a/f ratio sensor to help dial it in.
The variety of content is great in my opinion
Keep up the great work bro 😎🤙 much love from Pennsylvania 🥳🇺🇲
I remember that construction development truck, seen it at the mud boggs years ago off hwy 27
Flip that piping around out it through the fire wall and filter in the glove box area exactly how my suburban was ran never had an issue other than the distributor getting wet
Nobody gonna talk about the squirrel just running around in the shop??😂
Keep at it JH your crushing it respect to you and justin one hell of a team watching from the uk 💯🤌🤘💪👌🍺🍻
inspector SQUIRREL at 9::20 ish must be checking your work for loose nuts hahaha🤣
Man do you!! We will always be waiting for the next video/ upload. Love the content
I will say JH, on your test hits before the event, I thought out loud that ol Ron needs a tcase gear change.
What about a snorkel setup for Ron?
You see that squirrel jump up in the back at @9:25
Anyone notice the squirrel jump in back of truck before turning the lights on 😂
I love the content never change!
9:23 squirrel
Get a S&B intake box it has two ports u can keep plugged or open them out for power and sound
Talk to Sam, that guy knows everything...... 😅😅
those Holley retro bright's are a sweet option
Im really digging the Chevy cab swapped on a Dodge diesel frame with that bad bitch of a cummings. Yall fellas are killing it and once yall get all the bugs figured out on Ron Burgundy then he going to be screaming through the mud holes
!! Hope the intake goes inside the cab to keep it clean . That's even worse.. a wheel inline kicking mud and wet directly towards it.. ??? Put the intake in the cab on the passenger side clean and no water unless your deep!!
9:23 SQUIRREL!!!!!
So nobody notices jh’s new shop cat @9:23
Hey guys that’s not going work as you want. If you want it to work properly run it into the cab. I’ve built lots of off road 4wd and buggies and when it comes to mud water and dust we always had to run all filters in the cab with us. We tried everything and destroyed a lot of equipment trying to work shit out. And the only thing that worked was in the cab. And we ran the pipe through the firewall and up to the roof the highest point of the cars cab. Reuse what you have turn it back to the firewall and run it up to the roof. And you will never have any problems. Cain hard guys.
Here's 100 likes for all the days KZread wont let me sign in. Friggin love this channel!
Brilliant shnorkl
I have a tube running into the cab on my mud truck for the air filter
Here for anything with an engine no matter the platform the people make it worth while
Hell yeah boost fixed everything
JH - I recommend this course of action. When some commenter tells you what YOU should do, click their profile and check their videos. When they have zero related content, you can ignore them forever. 99% of goofs on YT comment and have ZERO real world experience.
Some people put the air intake inside the cab where the blower fan goes
You gonna do proper break in and shake down (baby steps) with the 78 square body and figure the bugs out in a process or just gonna send it and blow it to pieces. ??
Holley hit my boy up with a efi kit
JH you should get with Mr Sam or Steve Morris to get that big block dialed
Just wondering if the carburetor are for blower application. Because there's a huge difference between them. Or go to holley fueled injection blown through carburetor
you’re right everybody’s going to tell you something different, but I promise you you won’t get enough airflow with those carb hats. And there are plenty of people out there who are running twin carbureted blue instead of like this, they must just be tight lipping it.
SMX oh yeah
Throw some clear on the 78 paint patina
You should get some wide steelies for it from Detroit steel
Did anyone else notice after Justin turned on the new lights a squirrel jumped onto the back of the truck lol don’t believe it look at 9:22 to 9:25.
Belt should be UNDER the tensioner. More engagement with pulley and not stressing the teeth on the belt.
Did anyone else notice the squirrel on the lift at 9:25.
Doesn’t matter gas or diesel love the videos
They should have sent you some turn signal lights too
Should pipe the intake into the interior you won't have to worry about sucking water then
So you and LS George have the same belt issue. Sign the belt and give it to him!
✌🏽😎
Do you brother. That's why I watch.
Need a air fuel gauge! Have a feeling that motor is running super lean
Hold on isnt the tension pulley on the blower belt be smooth to smooth? Not rib to smooth? It would have more constant contact too that belt and help not chew it up atleast wouldnt it?

I could be wrong
Anybody else notice the squirrel jump in the back of the truck?
Did anybody else see the squirrel?
Probably should put it through the cab
..and here I am thinkin' Garrett and Cleetus was the *SAME GUY!* Just when you think you got it all figured out.
Jeez you and LS GEORGE have some bad luck with belts haha you’ll get it figured out it’s all apart of the game

Also could you run the air filter through the cowl into the cab and that way it should stay dry and clean
Any way to put the intake in the cab
Hey i am a big fan of yours and I live in Alabama now and I really want to meet you
Squirrel!!!!
Take the carburetors off and run it like cleetus runs toast the blower might not be getting enough air and I’m sure you and Justin will figure it out

Where is it going to get fuel from?
The square body needs exhaust stacks.
What transmission are you using in that Square Body getting ready to Cummins swap mine
It says JH Diesal and 4x4. That means any 4x4 gasser is still acceptable I think
The chevy ciummins swap should be your daily
You ever hear of a truck called farm jeep Kenny Miller
Didn’t the carbs have some blockage issues too?
