These road repairs are my favourite videos to watch. Cheap tools, minimum equipment, finding parts, quick thinking making things work to get back on the road, and a cool story to tell when u get back. 😄 And might make some friends along the way.

So true. Been on a couple cross country sketchy drives myself. Definitely memory makers. Only wish I had the time & money to do it again. Nothing like getting a 1 way plane ticket to buy a truck site unseen and driving it back. As you said, there is a chance to meet some really good, helpful ppl out there. Late on a Sunday night, I blew a tire. Got to a truck stop a just happened to meet a local guy that was buying a case of "cold snacks". He literally went home, took a tire off one of his trucks, came back, changed mine my hand, then wouldn't take any $. Forcefully I was able to pay the man something but not nearly what it was worth to me. Such cool ppl and memory. Anyways, I agree, gotta fo this atleast once in life!
