I was impressed by the fact that, once he actually got on the gas in the Bronco, he was able to keep the Ram from gaining any more ground.

There was a recall on those ZJ grand Cherokees in which FCA would install a receiver hitch as an extra protection for the gas tank. Tommy’s obviously hadn’t had that done.

Great video. This was so STUPID! But in a good way, it had me “emoji with tears” laughing. Roman’s laughing reaction to the ripped off bumper was contagious!

I loved this video. Who ever came up with this idea is awesome. I also want to see videos of the the lightning off road with those new tires.

I love the videos you guys put out. I just gotta say one thing and be honest. Please when ever pulling or tugging secure the straps and hooks properly. I would hate for someone to get hurt for some laughs and giggles and pranks. Be safe everyone.

I have 1025R backhoe and bucket they are very nice compact tractors it is amazing what the tractor can do. I have watched vids of 1025R pulling 7G up a paved road

Next time, connect the skid steer at the bucket and pull backwards then it will not tip. They are balanced to have the weight at the front.

I though Andre would bring the skid-stear out after the Mule. Fun video as always. Maybe you could do a tug-o-war with the Ram and David's Square Body with the Cummins?

Makes me think of the Diesel Brothers doing a tug of war between the Mega Ram Runner and the Marmon semi tractor.

This is fun but holy cow guys it's dangerous. I've seen holes punched through the back of tow trucks when tow straps break. Yoinked a tow hitch right out of the receiver and it went through the head guard and went through the back windshield of the tow truck and then through the front windshield. Luckily missed the driver by about a foot. You can rub the tow straps through tires. It helps. I recommend looking into how to hook these things up so you don't kill one of the drivers.

Such a test always wins the heavier one, not the stronger one

I contend if you connected rope to the front bucket the weight distribution and skid steer grippy tires would have overcome the dodge on street tires. And in other news the Jeep doesn't Have tow hooks? Those journalist really ruck Tundra over the coals for Not! Maybe they should keep their day job or maybe consult with David the Rancher/farmer he's got the skills and experience. But then again he wouldn't do something as ignorant as tug o war among vehicles. Your just spinning your wheels, boys.

My pickup can lift up an 1000lb. I have an engine hoist that fits in my recess hitch. 😅. Thanks guys. Very fun to watch.

That is a neat little tractor, but it is a basically a big lawn mower. Try it against the next step up, a 5000 series with ag tires and turbo diesel. I've yanked a fully loaded semi out of the mud with mine.

Roman should have turned up in a Caterpillar D3 Dozer instead of a skid steer! hahaha

I think the Morrvair has the Bronco beat on weight, but Matt does like to run bald tires.

You should get a CKX titan helmet. Very KZread recording friendly and has included a cam mount on top, but also an optional chin mount.

Great video! Love that Bronco, but I loved almost every Bronco by Ford, cant help it, just a neat style.

Is the skid steer built to pull in reverse as it is built to push forward. I think it would have done better if they had the ability to back up and pull the truck that way. How strong is the front window on those skid steers safety wise im curious and i dont want to put anyone in danger...

Should have scooped a load of dirt with the skid steer for extra weight and balance.

I died laughing when the JEEP shredded or shedded the bumper. I guess a horse is better than an ass. Roman, you should have had the skid steer pulling backwards, the bucket would help in your favor from tipping forward.

Those 42RE’s were stout behind a 4.0L, very little problems actually.

In az the mule is legal on Road but up to 35 to 40 mph

I would love try someone get 3 vehicles from the 80s put modern brakes and tires on them to see how much it improves over the standard from that year

If you had a bucket of rock in the skid steer and a bridle strap so you were pulling evenly the result may have differed.

I thought the same. It’s not a lot of $$ really and the spare is always an issue in the ZJs in my opinion.

Should have grabbed a bucket load. That steer was only using the rear tires to pull. Pretty any farm tractor could pull that ram sideways.

A big Tommylift on the back of the pickup will certainly lift 1000 lbs.

Think if the ram had good tires like maybe some all terrains or mud terrains it would win everything hands down. Those F load highway tires have no grip in the dirt

Yep, that's one of the things you have to watch out for if you want a fair tug-of-war -- you can increase your traction and decrease your opponent's traction by having the strap higher on your vehicle than on his.

Truck vs Car Tug-of-War. I watched the entire video and did not see a truck vs car tug-of-war.

You guys should do that again but instead with the ford lightning

Hook up the raptor or a equal f-240 6.7 super duty against the ram diesel . That would be a good pull

I’ve done my f250 vs a 2500… a 30k tow strap broke, it was pretty even match.

All 93-98 grand Cherokees have a recall for a hitch due to rear ended collision puncturing the gas tank there no reason not to have a hitch on a zj

What, as in the recall was to install a hitch? I know some of the dodge pickups without a hitch still have the cross tube mounted to the frame but they just don't weld the receiver part on. Must act as a crossmember
