‘We can’t sustain this’: Pauline Hanson slams govt on immigration policy

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the Australian government’s approach to immigration is “so wrong”.
“Immigration should be in a managed way, bringing people into the country that will assimilate into our society,” Ms Hanson told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Ms Hanson said the amount of people migrating to Australia is currently “unsustainable”.
“It doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever … we don’t have the infrastructure that we need to provide for these people.”
There are warnings that surges in immigration levels will push up inflation in Australia.

It is an understatement to say that there are valid concerns about migration affecting Western countries, not just the capacity of infrastructure, and other services, but as well, that of government policy decisions allowing or encouraging migrants, none too strong in appreciation of Western Civilisation, to settle, for political purposes. Although there are Western countries that have learnt, at times the hard way, from errors of earlier migrant policy decisions, these might, alas, be in the minority. A country taking a tough stance on birth-right citizenship, sends a clear message to prospective visitors, along these lines: ‘Don’t have your babies born here with ideas of blackmailing the authorities. The problem with mass migration is simple. There is no time to build the required infrastructure and housing. When a population grows from the citizens, a government can clearly see how many schools, hospitals, houses etc will be required. When you import, you need those things NOW, which is not possible and creates a reduction in living standards.

Or they believe they know much better, than other countries, big mistake. We vote the wrong Politicians who have no experience, no knowledge of businesses, Lawyer etc that they have worked in before trying to be a Politician. But they certainly know how to waste Taxpayers money, go on spending spree travelling etc, when it’s Taxpayers money and not their money! 🤔🤔🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

A country taking a tough stance on birth-right citizenship, sends a clear message to prospective visitors, along these lines: ‘Don’t have your babies born here with ideas of blackmailing the authorities - We mean business!’ As events of late have shown, there are, alas, those who are Australian born, but of problematic allegiance, to put it mildly.

I am not usually a Pauline Hanson fan but on this subject she is 100% spot on. The probelm is that the more immigration that is allowed the harder it will be to cut it back to a sustainable number because the lobby for increasing immigration will grow even louder with those coming in. The western world is its own worst enemy allowing waves of people from the 3rd world to come resulting in the standard of living decreasing for those already here. The chances of my children or grand children ever owning their own home is becoming more and more unrealistic. Allowing foreigners to buy up Australian property is ridiculous and only in the interest of greedy governments and investors trying to cash in on an already overinflated market. I would love to see Australians try and buy property in places like China. One of the worst culprits for driving the immigrtaion numbers through the roof is an education industry whose only real interest is making money by charging foreign students exhorbitent fees, I believe there is something like 370000 here this year and it is going to increase. Get rid of Albanese and his left wing government Labor have always believed in the big Australia policy they are just careful not to publicise it too much as they know the backlash that they will get from the voters. We need some immigration but not this uncontrolled free for all that is happening now....I cant believe that we spend so much money on our defence but then throw the borders open to be over run without a fight.

And it's the Indians, Chinese and Middle Eastern ones who don't assimilate. 35 years ago in Sydney CBD you would think you were in China or another Asian country, and you couldn't stand in a line anywhere without them pushing in or shoving you out of the way. Other suburbs you would think you were in a Middle eastern country. Unfortunately, we have the bleeding hearts who don't, or have never lived in heavily multicultural populated areas, and they don't see the problems. When I was a kid growing up in Wollongong NSW we had Yugoslavians, Croatians, Greeks, Italians, Russians. Nice people who actually made the effort to assimilate even though there were language barriers.

Fixed quotas for immigration sources will keep us multicultural and not dominated by one ethnicity (or the most opportunistic). This is what we all want a balanced, unbiased and united society, this will never happen when you flood the country with any one demographic and will only lead to internal resentment and unfair stereotyping of new migrants.
