The problem is that they are referring to the dead center as "far right". That means every real right wing person is a right wing extremist. That leaves the doors open to round up people they deem extremist, ie everyone who doesn't agree with them.

The real witch hunts from history were unjust, unfair, ridiculous, and almost always ended in death for the one accused of being a witch. In the end they needed no proof, just someones say so. The trials were often as much a punishment as the death part itself. What he is implying is that anyone who doesn't toe the party line, or the official narrative will be regarded as right wing extremist and therefore a danger to society. Wear your badge of honor with pride, by all means, just try to avoid the witch hunt and stay free.
