I always enjoy learning more about my KZread heros. :-) Q and A's are the best way to condense years of videos. I grew up in Iowa, lived around Chicago 'burbs for 11 years, then moved to SC. The change of season is so much nicer here! It's actually less abrupt here- 30-90 degree days last so much longer than the Midwest. Not to mention, mountain or beach? Flip a coin! Florida is hot, then more hot, and perhaps a bit more hot. One vote for Greenville SC 🙂 I hope Atlanta didn't draw too many tears.

I feel your pain about Atl. traffic. Have lived in Cartersville, GA for 36 yrs. Have been a union ironworker out of Local 387 Atlanta for 35 years. Hated Atlanta traffic 35 yrs ago, will not go there unless I am forced to now. I lost YEARS of my life in ATL. traffic. Thank you retirement. If you travel on 285 now, you will see your next birthday when you exit.

Loved this format of Q& A Checkin periodically. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I highly recommend the move from Maine to FL. We loved our National parks trip this Fall, but it was great knowing as the weather started getting colder up north that we didn’t need to worry about where we were going to spend the Winter months. We liked being reverse snowbirds and traveling out of FL during the heat and humidity, but heading home for the Winter months.

My wife and I met when I was in the 7th grade, and she was in the 8th grade. We got married right after high school just as I started College. We celebrated our 57th Wedding Anniversary last October and counting the 6 years we were together in school we have been together for 63 years and are more in love today than when we first met! We have a Christian music ministry that we do Sunday services for nursing homes in our area in Texas. We are active in our Cowboy Church where we are both on the Praise team and I'm an ordained minister.

Hey, I loved the Monday release of the videos. The older our kids have gotten, which means the older i have gotten, the more a sabbath has become a priority. Planning time without commitments or demands is highly important to managing a healthy rhythm of life for us. Thanks for another great video.

I’m likely speaking for many, but I enjoy any format you guys produce/provide. There are many quality YT RV content creators and each provide their own unique aspect. LJMJ, Changing Lanes, KYD, and you - each one stands out in their own way. The best is that you are honest and present in real ways that are so comfortable and easy to relate to (meaning easy for us as viewers to relate to, like a friend or neighbor that we’ve known for a long time). I think what you do and provide for us is tremendous. Inspiring comes to mind, but there are many adjectives that could be added. Heck, even the Dad Jokes are entertaining! Safe travels and enjoy a well-deserved holiday!

Thanks for the information about full-time RV living! We recently upgraded to the Sony A7Cii also and are really enjoying it so far. We're hoping that the image stabilization will be half as good as the GoPro's!

Florida definitely has seasons if you’re more in the northern parts. We purchased property to eventually build on in a place called Rivercamps on Crooked Creek outside of Panama City Beach. It’s perfect, feels like you’re camping in a forest, but located on the bay and not far from the beach. Stay safe, and as always, enjoyed the video!

We came through Atlanta about 3 weeks ago coming home from englewood florida. Ugg what a pain.. stay safe

We lived in Florida most of our lives and then moved to SC 16 years ago. The seasons are so nice to experience in SC. We are in the Greenville area. Florida doesn’t have seasons. Well it does have Hurricane season! Florida is also more expensive in general.

Who knows me and Jeremy really love Maui and Kauai we may just live there after we are done traveling. As a native Floridian, returning after military service (USAF), and currently living here would welcome...and might even let you use my Sony 200-600. That assumes that I don't leave as skyrocketing insurance and captial gains on house (owned 30+ years) open possibilities elsewhere. One thing I will caution you - Florida is a huge State which can take forever to get out of on the same 3 or 4 primary roads. RV'er like South Florida, but would recommend no deeper than Central Florida, and of course, the Big Bend and Panhandle. As an example, look at Traveling Robert who lives in Miami/Coral Gables and what he goes through to escape Florida - coming and going - with each of his adventures. Manatee Springs, can't say much about it except that it was my wife and I first camping about 50 years ago. It rained and we didn't know that if you touch the canvas sides they will leak. Was looking at it recently for a return trip though. The name is a bit misleading as manatee are rare with the short run to the Suwanee River. The two major area are Crystal River - of which Manatee Springs is nearby and the reason I was looking - and Blue Springs State Park north of Orlando which is convenient to me and not unusual to see manatee, but on cold snaps there have been counts of well over 300 in the short spring run to the St Johns River. While you are in FL, if they have a freeze, hit either of those 2 areas, but be advised with Blue Springs, on those days after the 200+ parking spaces fill as early as 10AM, it is one out one in and campers don't have a separate "private" entrance from the general public. That said, it is one of my favorite campgrounds.

Yetti. They're kind of expensive. But when you buy the cheaper ones, you constantly keep buying, looking for that 1. That will keep your drinks hot or cold , add up. Buying the cheap one you end up spending more than buying a yeti that will last years.❤ I'm a one and done type of person, so give us the yetties😊

Food for thought - Bison tumblers. Got them for the office swag and love them. Much more cost effective than Yeti. On the FOS gear, I would LOVE a simple FOS Crew shirt/hoodie - a timeless classic. Literally a front patch that has your block lettering. Thanks for the info on the batteries!

Just so you know. If I had a do over to live, we would have RV traveled with our 2 girls like you. We did popup camping a lot when they were kids and they have great memories of that. Our second home was Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. But seeing the whole country would really have been of great value to our family. I loved your sharing in this video.

South Carolina was where we settled! I grew up in PA, and my wife was a military brat that settled in Jersey. We met and moved to South Carolina. We settled near Hilton Head and haven’t regretted it. It may get a little chilly in the winter, but the Palmetto trees remain. …and we *DO* have seasons here: Summer and *not* summer (which lasts about 3 weeks in February). It’s glorious here! Come stay!

I still love my 2000 Monaco dynasty that I have now lived in full-time for four years. They built them all very well back then and I expect it to last as long as I want to RV.

To the end. SC over FL unless North FL. MB area is nice but in Peak Season and evacuation there are limited routes out. Also traffic patterns in Charleston and Savannah are bad due to heavy Port traffic. Wherever you go good luck.

We just registered last night for the Night Light Rally after our friends Mike and Heather Farnham told us about it yesterday. Really looking forward to finally meeting all of you. We are slowly making our way to the Florida State RV Supershow from now, Reddick, FL. That would be awesome if you did a photography or video class. I have all the gear to include a drone but I do struggle with some basics, at a minimum. We even have a KZread channel but nothing on it yet. Hoping I can figure out video editing before Tampa.-Pete & Lisa

Great material. Good change of pace every now and them. RTIC is a good quality mug at about half the price of a YETI. I have them and they are just as good. Just a suggestion.
