Join us on an exciting renovation adventure in our latest KZread video, as we tackle the ambitious task of digging out our internal floors and replacing them with brand new concrete, insulation, and damp proof membrane.

From the first crack of concrete to the meticulous installation of insulation and damp proof membrane, we leave no stone unturned in our quest for a revitalized living space. Witness the precision and dedication required to execute such a substantial renovation project.
Throughout the video, we share valuable insights, tips, and tricks garnered from our firsthand experience, making it a must-watch for anyone considering a similar endeavor.
So, if you're ready to be inspired and informed, hit play now and embark on this transformative journey with us. Don't miss out on the excitement - your dream home awaits!
What our channel is about:
We bought this semi-detached bungalow in August 2022 and given ourselves 3years to flip the property and sell on. We have a target budget of £70,000! Natasha is the editor and video maker, while Rhys is the builder (a carpenter by trade). We plan on doing 95% of the work ourselves to keep costs down.
This channel is for documenting our experiences - Good or Bad. This is our first time doing anything like this with full times jobs! Can we stick within our budget? Will the building inspector pass each stage? and the biggest question...will we still be married at the end of the project? Subscribe to find out...

Looking good . Presumably the lead water pipe will be replaced so definitely a health benefit for the future . Certainly the advent of modern damp proving systems has greatly improved the building industry , when you look at what was done in the past 😂 . Kind regards 👍

Thank you, yes the lead will be changed completely at some point, since moving in we haven’t drank a single bit of water from the taps just incase of any bacteria 😂 the property was empty for 2 years before buying it

Thank you, we are just trying to keep a steady pace, we don’t want to burn out and struggle with the renovation. It’s been tough but we are almost over with the dirty work and it won’t be long until the more exciting stuff happens 😊

Well, we knew we were doing it but I didn’t realise concrete was this expensive at the moment, but it’s almost complete and i think it will be worth it once it’s all done and in
