Well if it is like Hitman III or if it has a really good story and nice gameplay then there is still hope. Hopefully it won't too long just to get in some timer saver money. There could be microtransactions but not so much that it ruins the vibe of the base game.

Whether you believe me or not from here on out is all on you, but I know someone who is a dev in Ubisoft. They told me a long time ago, before Valhalla even released, that the game he'd been assigned to work on (Valhalla was in its polishing state with the next game's cycle starting), was an AC where they were lifting AC Unity's parkour system and improving it. *And* he told me that the whole RPG gear style bs was also going away with only the dialogue options remaining as the "RPG element." The reason they did 3 of the same games (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla) is because the execs decided the games will work in a cycle of 3. They have to release a game every other year and for that all 3 games' base remains the same. While they were planning that they had 2 options; either improve AC 5's parkour or build new RPG style elements. The brass decided to go for building new "RPG bs" because TW3 and RPG were all the rage back then and AC 5's disastrous launch was still fresh in the brass' minds (misinformed pencil-necks as always). So once they decided on that RPG element, they had to go through with the 3 cycle of games no matter what. But now the brass has finally realized its stupidity and the next 3 games are gonna be "what made AC games great" meaning good protagonists in a good setting. *This* is sheer speculation, but _maybe,_ *MAYBE* the next AC game is gonna be set in Japan.

i doubt there is a future for far cry, The 6 one better not be an rpg like new dawn

I genuinely hope this isn't the last time we see Aiden in the series. His metadata in Bloodlines states that he's wanted in Honduras, Belarus Qatar and Canada. An Aiden game set in of those countries would be awesome. Since it would takes place between 2 and Legion, they could go back to more realistic, current tech and maybe also bring back the darker tone from WD1.

By the end of WD2 you could see Ubi experimenting with different playable characters and their "specialties." Such a stupid choice. You can never get attached to a story without having a static character you can relate to. By the end of the Legion I couldn't remember Jack about the story. And even though I hated WD2's characters (saving Wrench and Marcus), at least I could somewhat remember the story

There are actually some details if you look deep enough in wd2, He got accused of an electronic crime he didnt commit just because he knew how to handle a computer, because of a beta of ctos 2.0 and got community service because all of the evidence was digital, he teached some kids about it and the second his time was up he started dedicating himself to leak stuff aboyt government officials for them to back off his town, after he managed doing that they hired blume and then the situation became worse, So he targeted aim to Blume and started hanging around Dedsec IRCs which eventually lead to the second games events

His and Tbone's story have yet to conclude. Legion was supposed to Close Aiden's and Wrench's story for now and leave open a potential sequel that may include all of them.

Atleast they gave us Marcus in that one side mission but man they shouldn't have closed every character story. Also if AC and WD are in the same universe that could mean there is hope for AC.

Marcus is technically involved in WDL, he is featured in one of the side mission with Wrench, where it’s revealed that he was the client, and we get some cool “Marcus and Wrench” banter during the mission

I started the dlc with low expectations but after completing it 100% I have more faith in the future of watch dogs

But still I can't accept with what they have done to Assassin's Creed...

It’s not only the characters, it’s the story and the fact that we get to know the characters more! That “play-as-anyone” thing sounds good on paper, but you can’t get invested, and you lose interest! Good characters and good storylines are the way to go!

Actually, I came to like the play as anyone thing as a side thing like in Yakuza 0 to an extent where you can manage businesses, customize your workers and have them go on dance offs.

@@redfoofan4618 Trust me, if Watchdogs has to have any style of content, it should come from the Yakuza franchise, except instead of being a moboss, you're a vigilante. I mean come on, it's similar to Ezio buying and renovating businesses and recruiting assassins and the sort. Just watch Angry Joe's review of Yakuza 0 and you'll be intrigued at the same time laugh your ass off on how diverse the side content in that game is😂.

It's an amazing dlc, bc Wrench and Aiden carry on into the main game and they fully voiced for the game, so you can play through the game as any of em, it feels like a true sequel to WD 1 for me

Just glad that Ubi realised that the loyal WD fans actually like Aiden a lot and gave him some more development

Adam is generic af. I don't see what everyone else sees. Marcus was better but had no real backstory. Personally I preferred the play as anyone format and organically building my own stars of my own game.

We need another story focused around Aiden and Wrench. Easily my favorite characters in the entire game.

I just beat it! It was surprisingly great. Excellent writing , I loved the characters more than ever. It goes even further and fixes some of my problems with the campaign.

So this was the successful Cyberpunk

They’ll have to listen to the fans after AC Infinity flops like a fish.

I just upgraded to a Series X and bought this DLC last night. I love the London environment they’ve created.

THIS is what we want from you, Ubisoft. Use your old, iconic characters and storylines and use them in your new games in a respectful, logical and fitting way. You have so many great stories and characters, f*cking USE them and make your fans happy instead of trying to make something for absolutely everyone.

Jackson Pearce was my favorite part of the DLC I always wondered what he would be like when he got older I think he could be the Main Character in the next Watch Dogs game

I really liked this DLC, I only wish I had known I had to buy the entire season pass (instead of just Bloodlines) to be able to play as Aiden in the main game. I should've checked beforehand, I know, I just assumed just the DLC would be enough.

Watch dogs 1 was a amazing game at least they bring him back

I absolutely loved this DLC and I'm replaying it at the moment. I can't wait until the Assassin's Creed crossover in August so I can replay the main game with Aiden, Wrench, and Darcy.

I enjoyed this more than the Main Story of Legion this says a lot.

WD legion plays in 2028 and aiden is 55 so lets be happy that he still lives

Imagine if Legion had been this story with Wrench and Aidan and with Skye Larson being the main villain and her dystopian plan of transferring human brain to machine. The game would've been so much better than the jumbled mess of whatever combined with no good NPC "players" bs.

The first time you walk into her underground basement and see the home there; the horror you feel as you realize what Skye had done to her mother and dog; how they have been suffering. She would've been such a good villain.

I loved (and still do, playing through it again) building my team organically, letting emergent gameplay situations arise, stalking and killing their enemies, creating stories of my own with them, etc. I limit my team of operatives to under 10 and am very particular about who I recruit (their looks, bio, skills/weapons, voice, etc.). I play with permadeath and when I lose a character I really love its fucking brutal. Most of the people on the street are pretty generic but once in a while you can find some real gems. I only wish they had kept the leveling system in the game.

Marcus was in the dlc! Hes in wrenches side quests with jordi

A WD game where you play as Aiden and Marcus with a story that brings them together is a dream that I still have I mean it’s not impossible if they made Aiden and Wrench come together

Marcus is In one of Wrench’s side missions in the dlc. Aiden’s weapon is a Baton or a nightstick not a bow staff lol bow staff’s are a lot bigger.

I loved this DLC, I loved old man Aiden, and I loved you could play as them in the main game. I still think Jackson should have been playable, I would love playing as him in the main game. He was apparently suppose to have a bigger role but it was cut short.

I think a lot of people slept on watch dogs 1 I really enjoyed the story and liked Aidan Pearce as a protagonist

What I really want is for them to make a way to make Aiden and Wrench the main characters in the main story because what REALLY takes me out of the game is that Aiden Pearce the Chicago Vigilante and Wrench former member of Dedsec San Francisco are in London and nobody calls them by name or acts like they know who those two are and it shouldn't be that way

Passed over legion it just looked weak, this is the first thing that has actually made me want to try it

I played the DLC before I played the main game and I’ll be honest the DLC does feel better. But playing through the main game as Aiden and Wrench is pretty fun too and I’ll bet feels better than playing as one of the countless randomized characters in the main game. Plus wearing a replica of Wrench’s mask as Aiden feels weird but badass at the same time.

It should have been the full game. I stand by that

The only problem I have is that Wrench takes of his mask more than once and I feel like ubi forgot how important Wrench's mask is to him.

imagine aiden pearce talking like some of the other characters in the game, i mean seriously what they did to the people in story mode is fucking brutal, where this "Yo fam, last nite was pretty lite, for a bonkars fella lika ya, we went fo da pub, for a pint for a fiver, fo sho thought ya were a gonner, focking coppas beheaded yas, whif da queen on manchester takin a spot of tea on da telly" a copy pasta when you search up "british accent copypasta" sounds like something you'd actually hear in the game

I really liked legion before the DLC, I actually have 3 copies of the game but I have at least 2 copies of majority of games...... But yes bloodlines for me made a good game great

I have a love/hate relationship with Ubisoft. They have the most talented group of people but they hold them back with microtransactions and crazy dead lines.

The dlc was cool, but Aiden definitely deserved a full release

they have skrudt up a bit the young version of Adrian Pearce is not someone who looks like him from the first watch dogs

"It hurt seeing Aiden at such an old age." He's not that old lol. He's literally the same age as Keanu Reeves in John Wick. Does it hurt you when you see Keanu in those movies cause he's "so old"?

WD1 is still the best game in the series in the best game of the series, they could remaster WD1 to look better than the infamous 2012 E3 demo now with new consoles and it would sell, WD3 is abysmal, with Aiden its bearable.
