I worked in the car business for a long time and you are absolutely correct. Sometimes you have to wheel and deal. And you have to do things that might not be exactly the way you normally would do them to make a deal Go through and you're usually doing it to help the customer out. But obviously it benefits you to get the sale to go through as well. Ultimately of course you still have to have Business ethics and if it were me, I would keep a copy and a signed piece of paper for every decision that you make with a customer especially if it's something like this.

The title should be “Stallone’s voice actor sues Bridgette Neilsen’s stunt double.”

She understood, but it's very important to leave a paper trail, especially business related. When I was moving out of my last apartment my landlady said she O could use my security deposit as last month's rent, I paid the rent anyway, then she sent me my security deposit asking why I did that. "I said, meh, just to stay above board." She had done some very shady stuff in the past with other tenants. About a week later she starts texting me about alleged damages, I text her back pictures of her pristine apartment. She would've 100% tried to screw me with the deposit and try to claim I never paid my last month. The paper trail makes it very obvious that I paid my last month and got my deposit back.
