The way the wife looked at the husband when he said 18+5 which is 23 😂 💀 he sung like a bird
I bet the plaintiff’s husband caught heck when they left the courtroom for saying we’ll have 23 people. She looked at him mad and said something to him.😢😢😢😢
The plaintiff woman is crazy. 23 people in a house is outrageous.
The plaintiff acting like JJ just asked her to solve some quantum mechanics equation with the random numbers she is spitting back 🤣

This lady sounds like every single family matriarch I ever had to deal with when I was a host at a restaurant. 😒 how hard is it to figure out how many people are coming with you? Round up if you have to! And yes the children all count!! I don’t care if they’re two days old, if you need space for them you count them unless you’re gonna have them wait in the car.
I love judge Judy.. she gets to the truth every time
Unbelievable that people-like that woman-assume others are so dumb. On top of that, she works in the legal field; she should know better than most. What we got us here is a slow learner. 😏

I'm an attorney. In real life, Small Claims cases are usually handled in the evening when everyone is already tired and no one wants to be there. The Judges rotate into SC and do it for a few weeks before returning to their regular day court-rooms. The judges can have a hundreds cases on the calendar (both new ones and old ones piled up because of repeated adjournments) and need to move things along as quickly as possible. The average Small Claims case lasts about 3 minutes - Plaintiff tells his/her side, Defendant tells his/her side - and the Judge sends them on their way to await the decision in the mail.

JJ liked saying Mr. Cooksy a lot. Looks like a fun guy, who knows he is gonna win.
Talk about people not listening. I’m like that’s not what she asked!!!
1:41 A major problem we have today is people are not listening to the question being asked to provide an appropriate answer, they are just hearing the question and responding so they can be right. As for the case. If the rental agreement have a maximum occupancy rule and the renters broke that rule then its an easy case. I travel often and have seen this many times with AirBB where people rent 2 bedroom with pool but maximum occupancy is 5 and they interpret that as only 5 people can sleep there instead of only 5 individuals max can be on the property at any given time. Good old Sosua stories 🤣

She heard the question lol she was just trying to avoid it
People tend to forget how to read a lease agreement. If it states no more than 12 people in the pool, and you want 24, you will break the lease and taken to court, you will lose. Enough said.
I was in family court recently and unfortunately i ended up arguing with the judge. My ex refused to pay child support for years and we have been in front of the same judge more than 20 times. I had enough, i was upset, i had to take time off work and i got mad. The judge was very angry with me but he held my ex in the court cells for the day. Long story short i received a lot of child support at our adjourned case the following week. It was a relief, i regret arguing with a judge but i had enough. I refused to back down and i ended up getting child support and i dont have to go back to court ever again.

I live in Hot Springs Village where this lady is from. I can say this is the mentality of the people living there. they expect rules to be broken for them. I only moved here to care for an elderly parent and I can’t wait to move out of this place.

Went to hot springs every year for thanksgiving growing up. If you’ve never stayed at the historic Arlington hotel there, you’re missing out. The elevators are super slow but it’s built into a mountain that you can access through the pool deck (heated pools too) and walk some trails. Some of my best childhood memories happened at that hotel. Seriously tho, it’s an old hotel, so if you’re into time travel, it’s so much fun

What is the big deal? They’re paying this guy thousands of dollars to use his house for a few days. Make a contract in case of damages !! If they want to have a family reunion and rent a house with a nice pool, why not if they are responsible and take care of it!!!
She's a "legal" secretary and can't answer simple questions? Yikes...

so let me get this straight she has people who are relatives who live there… but they can’t gather there? They have to rent a house for everyone to show up at?
One week he gets enough for mortgage/utilities/taxes/insurance...what's his beef? They aren't a bunch of college students.
I would never want to be renting out places. Most people don't take care of a rental like they would their own place. It's just such a pain. And no way would I have that many people staying in my property.
Twealv lmao
Who cares, if I’m paying I can have as many guests as I want as long as they’re not staying there with me.
