I'm an attorney. In real life, Small Claims cases are usually handled in the evening when everyone is already tired and no one wants to be there. The Judges rotate into SC and do it for a few weeks before returning to their regular day court-rooms. The judges can have a hundreds cases on the calendar (both new ones and old ones piled up because of repeated adjournments) and need to move things along as quickly as possible. The average Small Claims case lasts about 3 minutes - Plaintiff tells his/her side, Defendant tells his/her side - and the Judge sends them on their way to await the decision in the mail.

1:41 A major problem we have today is people are not listening to the question being asked to provide an appropriate answer, they are just hearing the question and responding so they can be right. As for the case. If the rental agreement have a maximum occupancy rule and the renters broke that rule then its an easy case. I travel often and have seen this many times with AirBB where people rent 2 bedroom with pool but maximum occupancy is 5 and they interpret that as only 5 people can sleep there instead of only 5 individuals max can be on the property at any given time. Good old Sosua stories 🤣

People tend to forget how to read a lease agreement. If it states no more than 12 people in the pool, and you want 24, you will break the lease and taken to court, you will lose. Enough said.

I was in family court recently and unfortunately i ended up arguing with the judge. My ex refused to pay child support for years and we have been in front of the same judge more than 20 times. I had enough, i was upset, i had to take time off work and i got mad. The judge was very angry with me but he held my ex in the court cells for the day. Long story short i received a lot of child support at our adjourned case the following week. It was a relief, i regret arguing with a judge but i had enough. I refused to back down and i ended up getting child support and i dont have to go back to court ever again.

The elevators are super slow but it’s built into a mountain that you can access through the pool deck (heated pools too) and walk some trails. Some of my best childhood memories happened at that hotel. Seriously tho, it’s an old hotel, so if you’re into time travel, it’s so much fun
