The Defendant did not live rent free. She paid rent, the deceased chose not to spend it and to save it to give it back to the Defendant. That's totally different than living in a place "rent free".

The plaintiff is allowed to have a job and be paid by the state as a caretaker. There are different levels of care they cover. Sounds like this man didn't need round the clock "nursing". Our neighbor's daughter was a caretaker for her mom and also worked full time. She wasn't paid $1000 a month to do that, I think more like only half that amount but she helped her with cleaning, doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, some things she couldn't do like take her trash out, etc. Don't get me wrong, the plaintiff is awful but it isn't illegal, ie not the same as collecting disability while working etc.

Ok.... She lived rent free for 5 and 1/2 years..... What's her point? The question was whether the one living with him was being paid to take care of him. She acts like she owes HER for living with him. WTF is this woman's problem? Also she can't possibly think we are to believe the defendant lived with him for 5 yrs and didn't contribute to his care. The defendant was the main caregiver and this woman standing there looking like James Brown's cloned sister smiling like she is proud. Even worse, she has yet to say what the hell she even did to deserve to be paid as a caretaker. Everything she mentions is what other ppl did for him. The husband cooked, the daughters turned him. So ...... then he dies and she shuffles her looney ass over there to snatch up the safe talking about she was nervous. Nervous about what? Not nervous enough not to take the damn safe. She is that kinda family member that waits around for everybody to die to get what they had. I already don't like her or that plastic hair.

If you're listening closely, this woman admits to everything in this video. "She was living rent-free because he was secretly saving it for her for 5 years." In other words, the full amount the girl paid in rent should have been in that safe. Easy to calculate the total, which is far less than was given.

My bffs mom owns her house so in order to get paid to do EVERYTHING for her she’d have to put up her house & the government puts liens which is ridiculous

Yup family members get nasty after deaths. My fathers sister who did nothing to help him, or visit him after he came outta surgery and his outcome wasn’t good. After my dad died she tried to get some of his property and claimed she was owed it. He had left everything to me so she was not owed one thing and when she tried to start this nonsense with me I shut that down quick. I said she had not done thing for him not visited either she knew he was dying and she abandoned him when he needed her most. His request was to split his ashes between me and his two sisters but that nasty witch got none of his, I gave his other sister her part of the ashes because she actually gave a shit and actually helped her brother during sad times, I got my part of the ashes and gave the 3rd remaining amount of ashes to my kids. The witch got nothing of his and I made sure of it
