Not sure case date, but avg. Cleveland RTA Bus Drivers make almost 50k/yr. With area's cost of living, ~6% lower than Nat. avg, those "nasty bus drivers" as Plaintiff stated, take home gross 50,000%/yr more than dude that missed job interview. The judge honestly was killing them with professionalism and respect which is what was annoying both of them. That’s why they kept acting like that, cause the judge would’ve been kicked them out. Also I feel the judge tolerates it sometimes so they can look like a fool on tv. Public tv humiliation is always the best revenge

My brother has been a mechanic for over 40 years and has his own business. He has signs everywhere stating "no customers allowed beyond this point." It's for insurance purposes, not because he doesn't want his customers to see what he's doing. If someone gets hurt in his business beyond the customer area he could be sued, therefore the insurance company requires the signs and he enforces it. His shop can have up to 8 cars in it at any given time, that's a lot of danger to people who don't belong in the shop. The defendant was right in not allowing the planttiff to be in the shop while he was doing the work. If he acts like he did in the courtroom today, imagine what he's capable of doing if he doesn't agree with how the mechanic is fixing his vehicle. He's an immature little baby trying to get a payout so he can continue to miss job interviews and live off his lawsuits. Based on how he acted in court, I'm guessing he wouldn't have gotten the job anyway, and if he did, he would have been fired the first time someone pissed him off.

It wasn't a security deposit he expected to pay back. It was an advance payment for service that he expected to perform. He's an alley mechanic that used the money for Christmas. I would've given him a couple of weeks to come up with the money. The plaintiff changed the time-line, but was inflexible regarding the time frame for completion of the work.

I get the feeling this isn't over. That plaintiff was waaaaaaay too angry.
