WARNING: BOAT ALMOST CAPSIZES AT DANGEROUS INLET ! TOO MUCH WATER ! | BOAT ZONE
Ойын-сауық
Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

Captain’s mistake or boat design?! 🤔 How could this have been avoided? 😳

listen to the warnings and don't go out there when it's dangerous.

Mostly mishandling the boat but design didn't do a y favors---but that's no excuse
I grew up in Boca in the mid sixties and ran this inlet many times. Back then, my friends dad’s boat was. 21 ft and had twin two stroke 40 Evinrudes. Rays dad had a rule. Breaking water on the bar, was a turn around. That outgoing tide could rip up to six knots. There was always an offshore wind. Sometimes the bluefish run just had to wait.
That HCB captain did an amazing job. Super smooth
The Axopar did well..the Captain also knew what he was doing
The last catamaran looked like it got stuck and couldn't go forward.
Good looking drone work. Flying a drone in that wind takes a talented hand. I really liked the Axopar. Really neat lines. Thanks.
Fire Rescue: only ones wearing lifejackets. Put 'em on, cross the bar, take 'em off. Common sense vs Florida Man: hhmmmm I think I know who wins that battle
The ships swaying on the sea and the waves are so beautiful
8:55 Loved the first person view from the drone as you go out of the harbor! 😀😁😂🤪
at 2:40 mark that was me on the Aquasport. nasty day but we still caught our fish for dinner. great times!!
That second one got rag dolled super sketch. Thanks for the cool vid
Great drone perspective!!!
Vids better and better. Thanks!!!
Great collection today! Thanks.

I really don't like any open front hull in chop.. When I replaced my former open bow boat, I went with a closed bow for safety. Disappointed my husband who liked hanging out in the front... but when the Columbia River chop comes up, it does in a flash.. and I hate scooping water.

I agree. Most of these boats that get into trouble take on too much water over the bow.

@@KentDuFault It is clearly seen that boats with a long keel pass through waves better than short boats
Amazing noone dies in these videos
Are life jackets not a thing in America? Common sense would have you put them on even if it’s just for exiting/entering the Inlet.

The average citizen here just isn't all that bright I'm afraid. I mean, just look at who our president is. 😒

We have a lot of boaters here that like the owners of the TITANIC believe nothing will happen to them, they're too good to drown, and their boats are unsinkable. Sound familiar?
WAY back in the dark hidden mists of time when I lived in Tampa I was sailing on a small sailboat in 10-13 knot winds. I had following seas and this.... 'person' cut across my bow with a large Bayliner looking boat of maybe 35 feet... I hit his bow wave and stuffed my poor little boat so bad I had to heave too and manually pump out my bilge (shorted the electric bilge and batteries with the amount of water that entered the bilge and the interior of my boat). When I say he cut across my bow. He missed my bow with his stern by about 25 feet, but he was full throttle and I was doing maybe 5 knots. Needless to say. I was furious. I did however find him later at a Marina. I'm no longer allowed at that Marina. LOL. To clarify, he wasn't coming from behind me, he was coming from in front of me and DELIBERATELY crossed my bow that close.
The guy in the regualtor knew what he was doing good job captain
0:40 That was awesome! 😅😅

That dude is still looking for his flip-flops.
The guy at 3:22 came in a surfer riding waves......alomg the crest and then turn to ride the wave...
The first boat is not for the ocean, No bow flairs
Watching at 2x speed makes it so much more enjoyable
Heck of a way to function test your bilge pump lol.
I’m gonna say, a lot of those people have no common sense, but it’s funny to watch.
Man ! What a washing machine 😮
great Boat
3:44 - Pretty much the first time I've seen the inlet make a boat strike its colors...
Why would you have an open bow which is a giant water trap? I had a "bowrider" back in the eighties however when underway the front was covered with a snap-on/off waterproof canvas...
No replacement for freeboard and boat weight. Lightweight boats will get thrown around in those hydraulics unless captain is pretty experienced with throttle control and trim.
No trouble anywhere? The Regulator kicked ass.....
Props to Fire Rescue. Not the sleekest of craft but welcome company when needed. Nice that you feature them as well. 💪🛟👍
this stuff isn't funny .... when these fools get in trouble treating the inlet like a playpen they expect instant help from responders whose own lives may be put at risk

That is why you live in your parents basement with no troubles. Instead of getting out and making lives adventures .

Anyone with life jackets😮😢😢
Small open bow boats are dangerous in rough seas, even the large ones have problems. Boat builders dont put enough bow flare on the bow nowadays
We went out the Boca inlet on Saturday, 2/10/24. If you don't post it, we would love to get the footage somehow, even if you charge for it. We were 4 guys down for super bowl and would kill to see that footage. Thanks,

I live in Australia and I’m wondering what the marine licensing laws are over there to captain a boat?
Midnight Express boats are the sexiest things on water. My lottery boat.
Big difference between weekend warriors and real boat captains
Why do none of these boats have their VHF antennas up?
Wheres the trouble ?
👍
I’ve watched 100’s of these. Water so dangerous they have several KZread’s filming for the mistakes. NO LIFEJACKETS EVER
Call me old, but nothing about that looks fun
It's hard to believe that every summer there are more idiots in boats not adhering to basic safety rules at sea
So overboard = death?
What's the best way to enter an inlet like this?

Ride the back of the wave, do not overtake them as it causes surfing and resultant broaching. You see that here
Axopar guy finally justifying his purchase of an enclosed cabin.
And so fare not a single one wearing a life/floating West. Swimming in those waves are no walk in the park.
Maybe a closed bow would be a better idea but allways great to see these american u-boat captains😂💦🐳
Does no one get training anymore....never buy a used boat from south Florida
do any of these boaters actually check the weather and surf reports? Unnecessary risks taken here.
Natural selection failed us again 😅
Why have all those motors if you're not going to use them? If you just want to sink your boat leave the motors on the dock.
Cant believe none of these fools are wearing lift jackets?
Poor piloting. These "captains" don't even know how to ride the back of a wave in or how to quarter a wave going out.
0:47 Yeah, great bow design, no flair on the bow to slow the downward movement of the boat when encountering large waves/deep troughs, stupid ugly design.

Oh but you are forgetting that it is crucial in order to look like those really fancy new yachts that are more than triple the size! How will people know they are rich if it had an actual practical bow.

These wave piercing designs have been embraced by the euros primarily because their cheaper to build!
Always be wary of the waves at haulover inlet
