@@Tanzenergise Probably like owning a car in the US, gotta pay the annual tax and registration feel for the privilege of using equipment that you already own. Oh, if I ever own any dreadnaughts I am going to for sure 3D print up some tiny license plates.

Come to think of it…do space marines pay taxes? Do the sororitas and the church? I doubt the assassinorum does. Also I kinda doubt the guard and navy have time to do so. Maybe Rogue traders…for all the talk of taxes and RG’s love of them, not a lot of people are actually paying taxes.

@@massgunner4152 Fulgrim always overpays so Guiliman is forced to give Fulgrim a tax refund.

The emporor did this becuse he knew that if he assended to godhood the custodians would become demons of order. in warhammer if you know a demons full true name you can bind it to your service. With names so long it would be impossible for anyone to guess a custodians true name.
