Fantastic! This is what I was always hoping to find here: not 15 minute loop turned into a 10 hour video, not an ambient production like for a video game but actual "footage" of someone with good microphone etc. in an actual forest where it's actually raining.

I feel like there is still a lot to optimize here. I'll be curious if the sound of walking (steps, even if gentle) would be disturbing or not even matter.

The Footage is great, the Sound is stationary and the Rain falls on stuff on a Terrace, not a Forest. I still like this, though. :-)

Nor sure if there is no loop. I think it's repetitive loops. It's too even to be natural

It sounds like when I was at Ft. Benning or Ft. Campbell, in the back-40, with my wet weather top on, walking around on patrol or on-mission.... When everyone was sitting around miserable, and I was happy. 👍👍👍👍

I can't stop listening....when I need rest, when I'm overwhelmed or just need to drown out toxic noise around me....this is my go-to. Thank you for sharing.

I love real no loop rain and storms. Real weather is alive for more than just a few minutes looped. I also like knowing where it was captured. But that's just curiosity. It's easier to imagine being there when you know where there is.

Nik, My wife and I just finished watching your log cabin series and I was saying to her that you should record the rain on those long days that you couldn't work on the cabin and then we found this channel! Thanks Nik. We live in the western part of the MOJAVE desert and don't have many rainy days.

I love this more than I can say. Rain is my happy place, and the forest is my other happy place. And these scenes set the perfect tone for the book I'm writing, which takes place in the Pacific Northwest. Now I can just throw this on in the background while I'm writing for inspiration. @@PBunyanOx I... got a little stuck and also had to prioritize my business over writing for a bit. But I am still working on it! It's a big epic fantasy, so there's a lot of world-building and magic-system-building involved. Decided to finish another stand-alone book set in the same universe first because it has a lot more wiggle-room and I can just have fun and write. Thanks for caring and asking.

This IS NOT a complaint... I wish you had included some walking in the beginning to give the viewer the sense of walking into the forest. However I'll take what you have freely given and I'm happy!!! Thank you these videos help so much with debilitating anxiety. I wish more of us would try these videos instead of suffering. I've come to learn in my 49 years that suffering IS optional. You need not suffer from your own mind. Coping skills are what we all need. So again I thank you for helping me find my coping skills.

I've found these tracks to help with anxiety too. There's something about the sounds which relaxes me and allows me to let go of the feelings. I'm glad it's working for you too :)

This is so lovely and relaxing. I can smell the freshness of the rain. Puts me to sleep right away, with such soothing thoughts as the lights go out.
