Let me tell you guys a story since you're all trying to sleep and reading the comments. I was born and raised in Alaska but moved to LA in 2015. In Alaska there's 3 months of summer and 9 months of winter. A majority of the summer it rains. I sometimes used to sit by my window while it was open and draw or write in my journal while it was raining. Even during the night when i was falling asleep I'd hear the rain outside lightly tapping my window. Some of the most craziest nights i have ever had happened while it was raining believe it or not :p So now I'm here in my room in LA where it only rains like 3 times a year. I've been having trouble sleeping and recently decided to look up sounds to help me sleep. I ran into this video and immediately clicked on it. Within 10-15 minutes I knocked out from it. Sometimes i imagine myself back in Alaska. I miss it very much. This sound isn't only calming for me but gives me nice nostalgic feelings of being home. This video is home for me. So, if you didn't fall asleep yet after reading this and you've made it this far then please tell me a story. I'd love to hear it.

Honestly I didn’t even mention the fact that he’s live everytime I look at his channel..... this guy is absolutely amazing, he takes his time to record places and their natural sounds, travel to those locations, edit together a video, he probably has a lot of blooper type videos from other sounds being made. thats true, i do listen to this before i go to bed for a time. sometime i fall in sleep with this. its calms me down and helps me to sleep with peace. it was realy helped me. i coulndt sleep before haveing to much thoughts because of depresion and didnt want to get dependent of sleeping pils medicaments . no need for music words and thoughts,cause that will brainwash my head to much and i will be to tired even for sleeping. just listen to this, i am feeling like i am outside on a terasse that has a roof with a blanket on me and a pilow under my head. its quaet,nature, fresch air, fredom, no fear,no worries and peace. just for a time at least. what is it interesting is that it works.

I just gotta say, rain is one of those things that is commonly used with a negative connotation. In writing it creates a scene of sadness or fear but in real life it hardly does that. Rain is beautiful in its own way, seeing as it’s helping so many people get a decent nights sleep. But rain is also a life giver, I mean the very source that all things need to live is literally falling from the sky. So while rain can be scary sometimes, ultimately it washes away a lot of bad and provides for tomorrow. Hope everyone sleeps well because as proof of this comment section, you’re not alone.
