Funny... As I was starting to listen to these comforting sounds a few minutes ago, I was also remembering my mom with nostalgia... I miss her so very much since she left us in 2021. She was almost 101 years old! Still, we are never ready to lose a parent. I know that I will always miss my mom and my dad.

Not only does this calm my anxiety but as a new mother, it's hard to get my baby to sleep. He likes to watch the trees and loves the sounds of the rain just like his dad and I. Thank you kind stranger for not putting annoying adds in this. I honestly can thank you enough for this. I hope you have a wonderful life my friend. Thank you for helping so many people.

This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.

We lived in the country & when it rained liked this I’d go out on the old screened in porch, set in the rocking chair, wrapped in a blanket & watch the tree limbs bounce from the breeze & raindrops. I like so much to go around the forest in rain and try to capture different sounds, I've spent last few days in forest with rain and wind and from many clips that I recorded there are maybe 2 or 3 useful.

Reminded me when I was in the village, we lived in tiny home in the middle of coconut plantation without neighbors nor electricity. We used oil lamp from sardine's cane. I can feel it not if I close my eyes. Suddenly I found the completely dark, raining sound, wind, cold. And I smell my mother's body sense. Suddenly I cry so bad.... Why? It's not because we are far, but I am happy. Yeah, I am proud to my self, that successful to better life. Now she is happy, enjoy her life, living in the villa in beach. I missed her.... This video takes me back to another time in my. life. I grew up 2 short blocks from the ocean & I would listen to the waves crashing on the jetties as the ferocious wind howled, the trees' branches swayed as it rained all while the salty air & chill filled me. It was so peaceful listening to mother nature.

Okay so I'm wiccan, an earth based religion and it hasn't been raining for weeks and I find almost a divine comfort when I listen to raining, it's not the same as laying outside in it, but my god is it comforting to close your eyes and listen to this
