Kevin Kahn Kevin I totally relate to this comment. Devon is an incredibly engaging guy. Very humble, well spoken, intelligent and has a great sense of humour. He's also an incredible arm wrestler and more than anyone really tries to promote it as a legitimate contact sport that requires significant sacrifice as well as strength to succeed. His efforts to promote the sport are tireless and he always has a smile on his face.

I kept noticing that and then at about 6:30 I looked over and all three were staring back. Then number four came along xD I don't know why it was so unsettling. Ever noticed how armwrestlers tend to have a school of kids?

Nice move Devon. This is a great gesture of sportsmanship. I appreciate how you are thinking of the sport and your fellow arm wrestlers before thinking simply about yourself. You are the one who got me in to armwrestling and this is just another reason you are my and so many others' favorite arm wrestler. With all the exposure in the last 5 to 7 years and the evolution of the sport in the last 20 to 30 years (evolving into a full body sport, kind of like ju jistu) I think good days are ahead regardless of what happens with WAL.

Even when u lose sometimes you are winner for me!Your power look so natural like no other....Not just a muscle ,but your spirit is so strong!

Sometimes when you win, you really lose, and sometimes when you lose, you really win, and sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie, and sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose. Winning or losing is all one organic mechanism, from which one extracts what one needs.

crazy to see auden now all grown in 2023 and look back at him as just a kid looking up to his dad.

It is in times like this that make me proud to be such a big fan of yours. I hope WAL doesn't go under even though that's what it seems. Your positive attitude towards everything is sure to keep spirits high at the finals and moving forward. BTW I haven't seen one of those hammers up close like that. Those things are sick! So inspiring . I hope it all comes back together bigger than it was before. You guys show what strength, persistence, and drive can do to someone. Make them unstoppable. Life's challenges are perceptions created by fear and change but life's challenges crumble under strength, persistence, and drive. Keep doing what you are doing. Total class act. Canada's hidden gem. Arm wrestling totally deserves to more recognition. If this was any other major sport, Devon would be known nationwide as one of our national sporting heroes. Yet for whatever reason and decades of the barroom stereotype, only fellow competitors and die hard fan know that one of the best ever is a Canadian. It is foolish. I don't want to see arm wrestling in the Olympics. The IOC would try to 'clean up' the sport..which would sterilize it and get rid of its character. But I want to see it get some respect and media coverage. It is the essentially the most affordable sport for kids to take part in. I suggest starting them young and build the sport up that way.

Devon Larratt is the armwrestling GOAT! Best to ever do it! 2015 left arm hw champ + 3rd place right arm, 2016 left + right arm hw champ, 2017 left + right arm hw champ. He came back from injury (twice), switched to his weaker arm and STILL dominated.
