John Brzenk born 1964, is an ex professional armwrestler from the United States. He competes in the Ultimate Armwrestling League and is the current UAL Right-Handed Champion . He won the 2015 World Armwrestling League right handed Heavyweight championship. Among experts Brzenk is widely regarded, and was also officially named by the Guinness Book of World Records, as the "Greatest Armwrestler of All Time.

    Steel wire ropes and hydraulic press arms. People think schoolboy is insane. Remember that John was winning his first world title at age 18. They are worlds apart in strength and talent. John was probably once in a lifetime sighting that rare. Giants just looked at him in shock and awe, bewildered. Doesnt make any logic sense to have that amount of strength for his bodyweight.

    Very good genetics+good hormones+training is logical. Some people are just naturally totally different in strength than other people. Genes my dude. Someone who is very strong or unbeatable like Brzenk got the strong genes from both of the parents. Also he was arm wrestling from a young age, mastering the techniques.

    @@dave7825 you can get the genes from 200-300 years ago also, when ppl were definitelly stronger, but chances are smaller to get those genes the more time passed

    He never looks worried or overly stressed, and he never seems to waste any motion. He's got perfect technique, and a lot of the extra muscle that the behemoths have doesn't help them. He's also probably naturally gifted in the tendon and ligament department. It's astonishing that he's been so good for so long with all that wear and tear.

    Everyone goes on and on about muh tendons . But google says the ONLY function of a Tendon is to TRANSMIT force FROM THE MUSCLE. So its still all about Muscular force in the end. But perhaps Brzenk’s tendons are more efficient, so there is no force leakage. I got no clue. But tendons themselves do not produce force

    I was introduced to arm wrestling back in 2008 when I saw John against Denis Cyplenkov. I had no idea who either guy was. All I knew was it looked like a freak show with a 300 pound muscle monster against a regular guy. Seemed rather pointless for such a mismatch. I was right, it was a mismatch. The 300 pound monster had nothing for John. Been a Brzenk fan ever since.

    He was a natural middleweight, but he often stepped into heavyweight territory. When he was a heavyweight, he was almost always the smallest. Not to say John is a small guy, but he went against some super heavyweight monsters.

    When I was in the military, there was a kid who was normal sized and would beat all comers. I considered myself fairly good at the time, and arm wrestling him it was like arm wrestling a hydraulic press. If he decided to hold, you could not move his arm. And when he decided to put you down, it was as if the hydraulic arm was putting you down. He would grin and giggle the whole time 😅

    @@hongchaungocbaoSho was dominant for sure! But he did not come close to dominating his individual sport how John did. Sho had 45 championships in his sport. John had over 500. His longevity in his sport is incredible. It does not take away from the accomplishments of Sho, however if you are trying to find an athlete that dominated longer and better than John You'll need to do better than Sho

    John B is one of these hyper unique athletes that we won't se for a LONG time, or maybe never again. I'm talking about guys like Aleksandr Karelin, Lionel Messi, Michael Phelps, Arman Duplantis. So extraordinary unique and dominant, that in their prime, pretty much "removed" the gold/first-place from the competition.

    I'm fascinated by this legend. Big man ,no doubt, but not as big as a lot of his opponents that he utterly destroys. Got to be superhuman muscle fibres & technique. Absolutely amazing!

    He is simply THE LEGEND!!! Small guy, looks like a typical farmer, but strong like HELL! If you look at Levan, you clearly see that he eats medicines like M&Ms candies, but John....man, he is an awesome armwrestler!!! Bytheway: no trash talk OR "Tod`s amasing under the table style", he is clearly best of existing Armwrestlers at the current moment.

But taking into account opponents, which he met at the current moment and his age (32), meanwhile, comparying it with John (facing against all top-armwrestlers; current age is 57) - there is a clear outcome. Will see in his results in 25 years for proper comparison. But I can predict the future :)

    ​@@flostii6889 the style, which Tod uses should be prohibited to my mind. Referees in Ukraine this year gave 2 seconds to armwresters, who jumped below the table to stand up. Otherwise - loss. That is how it must be! Levan shows pure style, 50-horses power, big credit him for that.

    Got interested in arm wrestle by watching Schoolboy.Then found Devon and thinking what a beast he is. Out of curiosity, searched devon losses in yt then found another beast Denis.Now I am totally intrigued to know how tf can someone beat this giant and then I found the G.O.A.T John.

    People don't take into account that John Brzenk beats the greatest armwrestlers in the world who WEIGH 70 POUNDS MORE than he does. That alone is an impressive feat. If weighed 250-300 like some of those guys, he would be unstoppable

    I did some research on John as I've never seen a guy not overly big that is more or less unbeatable. Word has it John broke his arm in the 8th grade arm wrestling. He claims the ligimants grew back much stronger than before. That is simply amazing!🐐

    Just love watching his diverse hand technique and the various foot stances he takes depending on the position he's in. His persistent pressure is stunning to watch. I also crack up when he looks at the audience. When he does that you know it's all over for the opponent.
