sadly the passat has a transversely mounted engine so a v6 diesel would be a tight squeeze. Only the b5 and b5.5 were on a longitudinal platform from the audi a6. They managed to fit a 3.6 vr6 engine in the b6 but its a lot more compact.

I own a 2014 V6 TDI. I absolutely love it. My favourite part is the visibility. With the panoramic sunroof, I feel like I'm driving a fish tank lol. I usually get 8l/100k @140km/h on the highway. Around 6-7l/100km on one-lane roads(AC on). However, I swear it drinks 1 liter per nanosecond of pedal to the metal. Don't floor it and it's really efficient.

I just bought my first TDI Touareg, first TDI vehicle I’ve owned, and I already love it! I brought it home for my wife’s Subaru replacement, she didn’t like it, but I ended up buying it for myself 😂

That sounds like one hell of an engine

It's only a little over 200 horsepower. But, it has over 400 nm of torque. That much torque makes it super fun to drive.

Wow. I have a CC V6 and I do not think my CC is more stable than your Touareg!! How confortable seems that high speed! I like to sell my CC and buy one SUV, I will consider Touareg because your video. Thanks!!

echt krass wie langsam doch solche SUV´s sind mit so einem starken motor macht das ding 230 km/h blos um 15 cm höher zu sitzen so viele nachteil wow

Wenn man sich solche Autos kauft dann nicht um auf dem Nürburgring zu fahren. Es kommt halt auf den Mensch drauf an. Jeder hat seine Vorlieben. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der mehr verbraucht. Das sind weit aus mehr als nur 15cm. Hohes Sitzen ist wirklich geil. Ich habe immer tiefe Autos gehabt. Ein mal suv gefahren 1400km am Stück und beschlossen, dass ich mir auch einen zulegen werde. Einfach nur geiles entspanntes und vor allem sicheres Fahrgefühl. Wenn man Frau, Haus und Kind hat, hat man ein anderes Verantwortungsgefühl und übertreibt es auch nicht mehr mit der vmax. :)

Er kann nicht schnell aber, er kann so langsam fahren wie eine Schildkröte,wenn er offroad Paket hat. Oh Mann ich bin 30 Jahre verspätet solche Autos zu kaufen. Ich bin jetzt glücklich.

Ovo 229 na sat posle velikog napora nije preko 220 na gps. Odlično ide do 220 po kilometar satu brže i ne treba, kad se uhvati put konstantan sa blagim nagibom dodje do 229.

230 kmh easy

I love my Touareg aswell. Its like an Airplane on take off on hwy tip tronic mode. I launch mine, as the 2016 Sport. I love the spring after the gas pedal to hyper mode as the vehicle will not stop but only red line for a few seconds I hold it on passing sometimes as it tends to eat the oil up faster, lol. I am keeping mine, as Oak brown exterior, with beige interior. Vw wants it, but I won't give it up, as I love the vehicle 🥰🧚‍♂️🦅🪂👍👍👍

I've got the exact same color combo, Oak brown metallic with beige interior. 2016 model, US-sourced, petrol engine, only 42,000 miles at the moment. Will hold on to it forever. It's my seventh, and probably final, VW purchase.

The Touareg/porsche cayenne drive like a performance sedan, unlike BMW X5 or MB GLE 350 which drive like a truck.

That is so true. I wanted to buy an X5 or X6 and I have tested both. The way you sit in BMW compared to Touareg is as if you sit on a BMW and sit in a car. The Touareg is much nicer to drive and sit in. The position of the steering wheel is better as well, different angle.

I raced the older touareg V6 tdi on my lancer 1.3 and its barely faster than my car, which is supposedly slow

Da passiert ja mal gar nix wenn er bei 140 auf den Pinsel drückt. Und das bei 4000 Umdrehungen. Diesel taugt nur von 0-100. Auf der Autobahn würd ich den mit meinem 170 PS Benziner nackig machen was den Antritt angeht.

Да машина просто супер не ездит а летит дороги класс а у нас в Украине с трудом можно разогнать до 200 км дороги гавно или просто нет .

it has plenty of torque, good for pulling heavy trailors. in Germany the traffic law states that off-road vehicles (Geländewagen) may pull 1.5 times their max weight as a trailer as the only vehicle category, on every other vehicle type it's not more than their empty weight, so there is a sense

What are you talking about. Offroad is great, Performance is above average, Fuelconsumption is 8L/100km. Its one of the most efficient SUV out there
