In the Philippines, the age does not matter when it comes to making friends. They have this ancient tradition called "Bayanihan" which means shoulder to shoulder helping each other carry bamboo homes moving to another location where young or old or stranger will help on the move. This tradition is still a strong part of the Philippine culture. That is why Filipino people are more caring by nature.

When I was in the Philippines, I always tip high because they always provide top-notch service, and usually, they barely receive tips or not at all. They do appreciate it when you tip. I even tip the street vendors. That's how I help in my small way.

The most important thing would be something that words maybe cant describe. Travel to the Philippines once as an african-american person and experience it yourself. I was never treated so good in my life as there.

The "sue happy" thing is very American. Mango season is my favourite season, even after the season the mangoes taste really good😂 Making friends as adults isn't easy for real. Those sound like fishing beaches with brown water.

Here in the Philippines it’s very easy to make friends no matter the age coz almost everyone is friendly and we always smile so it makes everyone feel at ease especially foreigners. Of course there are still bad people here but it would be 1 out of 10 or out of 20 even. 😊

Most, if not all beaches in the Philippines, have very uniquely landscaped and air-conditioned classy cottages, which all beachgoers actually need restrooms to use, giving them much comfort, as there are also beds, when they need to relax, and not just huge umbrellas, to protect them from the heat of the sun, or even from rain...🇵🇭

the mango in the Philippines is not gmo, its about the species of the fruit that it grows so big because there are so many species of mangoes...almost each house if there's only a space the people will plant a mango tree...like in Thailand they have a lot of tamarind trees in the Philippines it's the mango trees he! he! he!

Philippines is a fast growing country in Asia and not a 3rd world country due to the foreign reserves base on world bank assessments amounting to 145 billion USD.

Bottomline, for foreigners, they love the Philippines it's because their foreign money/currency has more purchasing power than a Philippine peso. But for locals earning local currencies, those food and hotel accommodation is way too expensive and that is the reality. We have all these beautiful sceneries and places, but we can't afford to travel in one setting because of financial constraints. Those vacations for Filipinos, they need to be planned in years since Philippines is a cash base country. We do have credit cards. However, we don't like it since it incurs interest and you can easily over spend it. So we buy things which is only essentials and live only within our means. Living in simple life and stress free environment but to those unfortunate ones it's about survival and that is the sad part and breaks my heart seeing on the streets. Anyways, for foreigners, they can live in the Philippines comfortably with their foreign money that they can't experience to travel anywhere in the Philippines and they can't find comparable in the world with these simple, peaceful, beautiful and friendliest people on earth. I would like to ask the foreigners try to live with the locals, get a local job and earn a living with Philippine peso and you find the discrepancy of the money. I am still a stranger in my own country and need to discover some beautiful places. For now I go virtual travel and seeing in KZread. Only time can tell and earn and save extra bucks then I go travel but to many of us our priorty is to save money for our family that they can live comfortably rather than spend it just for days on a travel.

As to movies coming in earlier, Bohemian Rhapsody came out in the UK a full week earlier than in the US. So, it came out in the Philippines a few days earlier. Same with Harry Potter, which is another British film. Even the Harry Potter books came out earlier in the Philippines than in the US, because it was from the UK. I noticed that media from outside the US would come out earlier in the Philippines than in the US. So, I think the reason is that there are some more complicated official proceedings it has to undergo in the US before being released to the public. Censorship review maybe? No idea.

Fun fact: "Negro" in the PHilippines is a color not race. If people call you "negro" its not racism. Its describing your color. As a matter of fact they have a place called negros because people who live there are mostly dark skinned because they work the sugarcane fields.

Lol, it's so funny that you mentioned the beaches in the US. When I immigrated in 198 my sister, who's been here since 1968, took us to the beach on our first summer. But, when we saw the water, we thought why is it so muddy and wondered whether it's salt water or an extention of a river. Well, we never went to the beach again.

In the US even at work, when a group orders food you thought it’s a share thing but no, you order for yourself consumption unless it’s pizza but other than that it’s different. There are restaurants that cater family style but most are individual orders. It’s up to the individual if he/ she will share but you’re not obligated

This direct question only comes from Americans. Only a delusional Filipino will have the guts to ask this. It is a NO. The very few Americans saying Yes refer to the better trade-off they get in the Philippines and this includes the higher value of their money in the Philippines. They also mean the different and easy to-get-along culture. The Philippines has set its foot forward and has modernized so well but it is still decades behind overall.

The answer is no! I was born and raised there, but moved here in the US almost 40 years ago. They were doing great after the Grand Dictator got kicked out. That happened a few years after I left and I thought everything will change. Unfortunately, I think the Filipinos today want to experienced what I have experienced when Marcos ruled and plundered the Philippine Treasury while he was the Grand Dictator. They freaking brought his surviving keen(unfortunately as well) back to rule them once again. Filipinos just want to be taken advantage of and stepped on over and over with a smile🤣🤣🤣 If you haven't been to the Philippines, just try ut and see if you will like it! Don't be expecting too much just because of the video you just reacted to.
