In the Philippines, the age does not matter when it comes to making friends. They have this ancient tradition called "Bayanihan" which means shoulder to shoulder helping each other carry bamboo homes moving to another location where young or old or stranger will help on the move. This tradition is still a strong part of the Philippine culture. That is why Filipino people are more caring by nature.
When I was in the Philippines, I always tip high because they always provide top-notch service, and usually, they barely receive tips or not at all. They do appreciate it when you tip. I even tip the street vendors. That's how I help in my small way.

Thanks for your generosity.
The most important thing would be something that words maybe cant describe. Travel to the Philippines once as an african-american person and experience it yourself. I was never treated so good in my life as there.
In the Philippines, people don't do random shootings, especially in schools. It's More Fun and Safer in the Philippines. That's for sure! 😊👍
It's easy to talk to people in the Philippines especially if you are a foreigner. No matter how old you are you can make friends with anyone. Filipinos are very welcoming they have an awesome hospitality.
True beaches in the Philippines are so beautiful compared to Miami beach or Copacabana Beach in Brazil and the entire world.
Family Oriented 🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰
The "sue happy" thing is very American. Mango season is my favourite season, even after the season the mangoes taste really good😂 Making friends as adults isn't easy for real. Those sound like fishing beaches with brown water.
Here in the Philippines it’s very easy to make friends no matter the age coz almost everyone is friendly and we always smile so it makes everyone feel at ease especially foreigners. Of course there are still bad people here but it would be 1 out of 10 or out of 20 even. 😊

1 out of 100 in 1M plus population I think, maybe because of poverty.
You have beaches, we have paradise 🥰
Am a filipino watching from Finland this video makes me feel more longing for my country but being an ordinary local people in the philippines makes you think to go abroad because of lacking of job opportunities and good compensation which would definitely could help for a brigther future of the family😊
I’ve been to US, HK, CAD, the PHIL, AUS, NZ, Malaysia and I love the beaches in Australia and Philippines are really great! It is possible the people you spoke to have not been to the really good, isolated beaches in the Philippines
Philippine produce the sweetest mango in the world called "Carabao Mango" based in the Guinness World of Records... 😊
We’re friendly, hospitable, caring, thoughtful, helpful, God fearing, smiling always and….. HAPPY !! No matter if poor or rich 🙏♥️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Fyi: the Journey band's vocalist is a Filipino named Arnel Pineda for the past 15 years of it's existence after the first one..
Most, if not all beaches in the Philippines, have very uniquely landscaped and air-conditioned classy cottages, which all beachgoers actually need restrooms to use, giving them much comfort, as there are also beds, when they need to relax, and not just huge umbrellas, to protect them from the heat of the sun, or even from rain...🇵🇭
the mango in the Philippines is not gmo, its about the species of the fruit that it grows so big because there are so many species of mangoes...almost each house if there's only a space the people will plant a mango tree...like in Thailand they have a lot of tamarind trees in the Philippines it's the mango trees he! he! he!
FAMILY is a primary factor in the Filipino Culture.
This duo guys speak the truth base on their experience in the Philippines. My advice to foreigners visit the paradise country in the world and you encounter by your self . Philippines is a fast growing country in Asia and not a 3rd world country due to the foreign reserves base on world bank assessments amounting to 145 billion USD.
If you two ever want to know how life is in the city, in the provinces, or wherever in the Philippines, there are videos of walking tours you guys are free to check out which are around KZread just to 'escape' for awhile. When I'm bored or have free time, that's my favorite thing to do is check out what has improved in some places and virtually "sight see". ^_^
You both can come here(Philippines)to personally feel firsthand what they are saying,as i see in your faces that you are friendly too😊
Bottomline, for foreigners, they love the Philippines it's because their foreign money/currency has more purchasing power than a Philippine peso. But for locals earning local currencies, those food and hotel accommodation is way too expensive and that is the reality. We have all these beautiful sceneries and places, but we can't afford to travel in one setting because of financial constraints. Those vacations for Filipinos, they need to be planned in years since Philippines is a cash base country. We do have credit cards. However, we don't like it since it incurs interest and you can easily over spend it. So we buy things which is only essentials and live only within our means. Living in simple life and stress free environment but to those unfortunate ones it's about survival and that is the sad part and breaks my heart seeing on the streets. Anyways, for foreigners, they can live in the Philippines comfortably with their foreign money that they can't experience to travel anywhere in the Philippines and they can't find comparable in the world with these simple, peaceful, beautiful and friendliest people on earth. I would like to ask the foreigners try to live with the locals, get a local job and earn a living with Philippine peso and you find the discrepancy of the money. I am still a stranger in my own country and need to discover some beautiful places. For now I go virtual travel and seeing in KZread. Only time can tell and earn and save extra bucks then I go travel but to many of us our priorty is to save money for our family that they can live comfortably rather than spend it just for days on a travel.

Thank you for helping my people to those in need by sharing your blessings. Much appreciated.
As to movies coming in earlier, Bohemian Rhapsody came out in the UK a full week earlier than in the US. So, it came out in the Philippines a few days earlier. Same with Harry Potter, which is another British film. Even the Harry Potter books came out earlier in the Philippines than in the US, because it was from the UK. I noticed that media from outside the US would come out earlier in the Philippines than in the US. So, I think the reason is that there are some more complicated official proceedings it has to undergo in the US before being released to the public. Censorship review maybe? No idea.
Filipinos are really Friendly at heart anywhere they go
Fun fact: "Negro" in the PHilippines is a color not race. If people call you "negro" its not racism. Its describing your color. As a matter of fact they have a place called negros because people who live there are mostly dark skinned because they work the sugarcane fields.
Lol, it's so funny that you mentioned the beaches in the US. When I immigrated in 198 my sister, who's been here since 1968, took us to the beach on our first summer. But, when we saw the water, we thought why is it so muddy and wondered whether it's salt water or an extention of a river. Well, we never went to the beach again.
PHILIPPINES is a happier place. More compassionate people. No color barrier. The sense of understanding of the human condition is much better.
If you retire philippines is the best country b'coz here you will live your dream....
because filipino dont judge people from their appearance, regardless of your race or color, as long as your friendly and respectful, they will cherish you with or without money. 😊😊😊😊
Sharing is good we do that always, when we have food we share it to others, not only sharing but helping as well.,no matter who are.
Good reaction for a good observation
You guys need to drop by the Philippines…you guys don’t wanna come back here in the U.S no cap.
LOL you have no idea how beautiful the beaches and the lakes in the PH till you see them yourselves, saying it doesn't do justice at all!!! like the Enchanted River in Hinatuan its like even the name is an understatement when you see it, it is like watching in 10k resolution 😅😅 not to mention the vibrant color of turquoise crystal clear water, you can literally see the bottom 60~80 ft!! and you are not even in the water yet! 😱😱 and that's just one of the amazing things you see in Surigao alone!!

So true. I’m not a fan of sand and water but going to our island beaches makes me get it and see how awesome our beaches are.
Try Guimaras mangoes of the Philippines.
movie theaters are a huge difference i agree its better and lot cheaper to watch a movie there
You can't compare for sure. With opportunities and wealth definitely its US.but with mental health, families and how they treat other people id say Philippines.
Hold a basketball while waliking the streets in the Philippines...Man you are a star! 🤩 You'd be flocked with who wants to be friend with WHO.. .know what I'm sayin'. .✌️
Same me here been visiting many states in the U.S . I don't give beggars on the street and homeless people some of them are abusive .. used to buy elligal drugs instead of food.

Do leaders in the Philippines hesitate to commit to a peaceful transfer of power?
6:28 ... they dont do that because they food never expired 🤣 . bread can store for ages over there 🤣
The bad parts we have is drugs, corruption, pollution, crimes, terrorist and racism. I love the Philippines, I just wish we aren't surrounded by incompetent politicians and citizens.

Philippines is safer ☺️
In the US even at work, when a group orders food you thought it’s a share thing but no, you order for yourself consumption unless it’s pizza but other than that it’s different. There are restaurants that cater family style but most are individual orders. It’s up to the individual if he/ she will share but you’re not obligated

This direct question only comes from Americans. Only a delusional Filipino will have the guts to ask this. It is a NO. The very few Americans saying Yes refer to the better trade-off they get in the Philippines and this includes the higher value of their money in the Philippines. They also mean the different and easy to-get-along culture. The Philippines has set its foot forward and has modernized so well but it is still decades behind overall.
❤not going to a hawaiian beach because there are sharks...not in the Philippines as far as i know and Philippine beaches are varied like we have white sand and pink sand beaches...
Things that we don't have is what we like haha, like SNOW for instance, we don't have that here but I'm sure it's fun
❤
11:04 is a big statement as a filipino. i don't know about the others.
We are just easy for us Filipinos to feel at home the people although it will also have a negative effect. A good judgment of character will be helpful
True if you have enough money with just low as $1,000 is already a comfortable life outside the city or city outside Manila or expense capital cities. I’m going home in less than 10 years and enjoy life back home as a FilAm
Beaches in States are own by States, in the Philippines the people own it. You swim at your own risk, with the exception of nudity.
ironic, Filipinos always welcome foreigners into their land with open arms, Filipino visiting other foreign land gets frowned upon.
In USA you make and save money and spend it to Philippines 🤣
I got laughing when you said the baeches .....THIS IS MUD.....😂😂😂. I am.from the Philippines..
Yeah, I tasted Starbucks in the US and didn’t really like it; I preferred Tim Horton in Canada. It’s just different

Philliphines is the best beach and island in the world
I am a Filipino but I started drinking and smoking at the age of 15.
more homeless in Philippines than USA is wrong..USA has 18% of homeless out of their total population while Philippines only has 16%
That what my reaction when were in WA..when people there say they are going to beach .. I say what beach?…haha I say and you call it beach? ..lmao!
comparison is bad.
The girl said this is a cool video" For me this is not cool video for you , cause it is obvious that you are not happy what you see and hear in the video that you've been reacted. I mean you cant accept that Philippines is so nice in different ways not like in the US . In other words you are biased . We filipinos are friendly, welcoming and we are also good in bashing, 😆😆😆 judging. So you can't fool us because it can be seen from your face that you don't accept that the Philippines is beautiful and you're just doing it for the content.
Ain't no way Philippines is better than America
During Marcos regime Philippines is a very dangerous place. But People’s learned their lesson. Dictatorship doesn’t bring money in terms of Tourism. Beaches are open without tourist during the Marcos regime. It’s only now that tourism is booming.

BS of the people revolution!
The answer is no! I was born and raised there, but moved here in the US almost 40 years ago. They were doing great after the Grand Dictator got kicked out. That happened a few years after I left and I thought everything will change. Unfortunately, I think the Filipinos today want to experienced what I have experienced when Marcos ruled and plundered the Philippine Treasury while he was the Grand Dictator. They freaking brought his surviving keen(unfortunately as well) back to rule them once again. Filipinos just want to be taken advantage of and stepped on over and over with a smile🤣🤣🤣 If you haven't been to the Philippines, just try ut and see if you will like it! Don't be expecting too much just because of the video you just reacted to.
