I hope they get paid and are careful that you don't teach certain people too much about your survival, they may use it against you all.

They don't teach us Dutchies about this either. Or about the transglobal slave trade. It's not just guns they brought, it was enslaved people as well.

I'm from Uitenhage a small town just outside from Pe. Honestly we don't have a lot to do here compared to Cape Town it's not a big city but we have gorgeous nature reserves, the most beautiful hiking spots, lots of family friendly spots and amazing hidden gems all over the city you just have to go out and explore. I love the channel❤

Traditionally, many Kenyan tribes, such as the Kikuyu, Maasai, and Samburu, practiced ear piercing as a rite of passage for both men and women. However, some older Africans may frown upon ear piercing among men today due to its association with rebellious behavior and negative stereotypes influenced by pop culture.

I don't think it's all about the show... No matter how much I look at it, I think it's at least 1/5 comfortable or 1/10 based on what I got very hard... No matter how I look at it, it seems like I've been given some convenience.

I only kiss people 3 times if I know them well and haven't seen them in a while. Since covid we tend to hug more instead of kissing. I shake hands with people I don't know (well). Since covid it's more just saying hello.

Traditionally piercing of the ear or other part of the body was morally acceptable pre colonialism, majority of African tribes had piercings and other form of body mutilation as a form of family or cultural identification, social status and so on. The piercing of ones ear as a male child became an issue solely based on the fact that the Europeans who happened to colonise the country doesn't necessarily do that which became a standard, owing that people took them(The colonisers) as the representation of success and how success should look like at the time. Religion further appropriated it as been evil or sinful. Say colonialism made it unacceptable to those closest to that era which are our parents or grandparents, though the sentiment still holds strong among many youths today. most has no issue with it right now but I feel they would when they themselve become parents. In Nigeria, piercing is strictly meant for the female gender. Any man or boy who decides to pierce their ears are said to be either leaning towards femininity, badly behaved or possessed.

I was visiting my brother a few years back when he worked in Arizona. We ate in a bar and grill on the drinks menu and it was my first time seeing the drink black and tan on the menu. I was shocked as obviously they don't know the meaning behind it. I always remember my Granny who lived until 102 telling about the time a black and tan pointed a gun at her when she was a small child. They brought terror to Ireland.

Depending on where you are in the Uk and how you were brought up also depends on if you use 'ma'am, sir' and all that. Where i'm from, people do say ma'am or sir but mainly in shopping or someone who you work for. You usually just put on a nice voice and higher your tone when speaking respectfully to other people or older people. ☺

In my culture, piercing ears for boys is seen as a bad character, they tag it with being on drugs, being gay so much more. You lose respect, just like dreadlocks for boys literally a lot more.
