There’s something mesmerizing about watching and listening to you disassemble and assemble knives. I can’t stop watching and find it strangely relaxing.😵💫

It’s the way for sure. No springs, crappy detents and has reliable strength

I also like when you name off the parts. I'm a relative newbie, originally preferring fixed blades. Now that I'm shifting to EDC knives, it really is easy to understand how they go together and what the parts are. Now, if i can just get all the tools!😂

Should you ever use Locktite on the screws? I have lost an occasional screw, here and there on older knives.

Yes. If you have screws that back out, use blue loctite. It will give a good seal without being as hard to remove as red loctite.

@@edc4fun I literally have one folder that has fallen apart and lost the screws. Found it at a yard sale for $1. Lasted a few months, dropped it...well at least I only paid $1! Where can you find replacement parts? I loved the blade. Think it was German, good steel and about 4". Gotta find it and see about fixing it.

It's somewhere in my knife "graveyard" drawer. I never throw good steel away!

@@thewarriormonk972 it depends on the build/brand. Some screws sizes are pretty common and can be found on eBay or Etsy.
