Great video Vu! Thank you, I really have this as my dream knife Grail right now, don't know if I'll ever have one but it's so awesome! Just got my first Vosteed Nightshade Nitro-V. Thumb hole and love the quality, really great quality but the hole could be bigger and the placement better, as the spider flick is not as easy as it should be with no room on the opposite side of the handle. Still love it and sometime will get a thumb stud version for fidgety fun. This knife is a lot but definitely worth the money, hope to have one and thanks again for diving into this knife!

Great looking knife. The handle reminds me of the EMP-EDC Relative. Seems like a lot of oil on the back spacer.

Cool disassembly and reassembly. T6 screws are from the devil. Why can't knife manufacturers use T8 screws instead? Thanks for showing. 🗡👊🏼

Exactly... they could even pass the extra cost to the customer. I don't mind paying a couple bucks more for a knife. Guarantee it doesn't cost them more them a dollar for all t8s on each knife. Especially cause there buying them in bulk.

Great vid Vu!! I got the Wharnie Satin finish. I prefer black but the gold just didn’t do it for me. T8’s only cost a little more but when you’re talking 400+ knives that little but adds up. Don’t need more room for a T8, the head diameter is still the same. Put a heat gun in the clip screws to break up the loctite, best if it’s broke down so you don’t heat up the lockbar or the pivot bearings being they are plastic caged. After heat then give it a good go with a fresh T6 bit. 😎👍🏻

Ya but they could charge a couple bucks more per knife for all t8 hardware. I don't think putting t8s on each knife would cost them more them a dollar.

@@Ohmed_88 I want T6 screws to never exist myself. Got to look at the big picture. A small company that has huge investments and overhead costs, even $400 can be a huge amount of money to come up with to change screws. There are so many costs to building a knife that many consumers don’t think about. At the price point they have been sold at I highly doubt there was a whole lot of money profited.

I just got my new RS Kaos also, (WMK Elmax version). I was SO glad to see the hardware update, as soon as I took it out of the box. 👍 T6 pocket clip screws I can excuse. Body screws definitely need to be T8’s or larger tho.

They need them civivi or we type screws , t8 s 👍dang , I think I need to examine this specimen myself . I like the backspacer . I like this smock style button knife 👍. Wonder if or when they’ll come back . I wanted the kunwu pulsar too , never got it , went with spyderco mods and a bestech exploit but this looks like a good one

Visteed uses t8s on some models. Sucks it's not on this one

Hopefully, Vosteed will bring a knife with their interpretation of Compression Lock in G-10 / Micarta, with the T8 hardware, that would burry Spyderco's Military 2.

Snoop dog and my brother would be digging this Vosteed as a die hard Pittsburgh fan with them colors . This looks like a good design too . Doesn’t bounce vu Pham ? It's a superb piece! Great action and feel. Buuuut the dang t6. Fortunate the body screws didn't strip. But ugh! T8s please!

Glad I wasn't able to get one on this drop due to a recent purchase that I now regret. Thought the EMP Nymble X V2 was supposed to be good. So far 2 out of 2 with issues. Looks like I'll be returning it since it developed lock rock in only 2 weeks. Anyways, the Mayhem is sweet but hopefully they'll revise it in a future drop to t8 screws. There's no reason to use t6 on a full size knife. It still baffles me that the Gator has t6 as well. Not like there wasn't room to use t8 🤣
