This is such an outstanding song to begin with and to see her sing this before a live audience and that big belt at the end was so amazing and heartwrenching and to see your reaction was just too beautiful. That last extended belt that she did followed by a sheer silent and a whispery ending phrase always got me. The emotional content of the part of the song is just something to feel in a very positive way. Our loveones that were physically not here anymore are not gone at all. They will always be at our memory and they will always forever be inside our hearts guiding us like they never left. And Angelina perfectly written it in her song...we will never be alone.

She slowed it down from the last time and the musicians really had to work to stay with her....So as I see it she was cherishing the song.......Loving every word and note she sang.....

Angelina improved this song so much from the studio version a couple years ago. She increased the emotional impact by singing closer to a speaking tone and she sounding like her voice might crack at any moment. She also seemed to be dragging just a little behind the music. And that cry after the lyrics "...wherever you are," where did she get enough air for that? That and all the nuances that I didn't consciously identify made for an incredible performance.

Her voice totally carries this song. I wouldn't even know it was Million Miles it there was only the soundtrack playing. I've watched the three versions she released (lyric, studio, video) early on. This one is even better.

I hope this song can help you as much as it helps me. Although we all deal with loss differently, like Angelina so beautifully lays out in her loving sharing through this song, your loved ones may be gone physically they are always there with you. I heard many people explain something that happened, which let them know there loved one was that at a specific moment. Thank you for sharing the story about the loss of your son-in-law and ballon. My mother passed away on Feb. She had requested her ashes be spread. My Grandson, they had a special bond, myself and one of my sisters took her ashes to Alaska, to the area where her late husbands ashes were spread. As we got out of the car to walk down to beach, a Golden Eagle flew low over us and then landed on the corner of a nearby building. Its gaze followed us down to the beach and watched as my grandson slowly and carefully spread his Great Grandma’s ashes it the water. As we walked back to the car again it’s gaze followed us, and as we were getting into the car it left the perch and flew low right over us and then was gone. I seen many Bald eagles on every trip I had taken there in the past, I had never seen a Golden there before. Like you said who’s to say, but we all saw this and agreed she was there with us watching through the eyes if the Eagle. This song was all ready special, before she passed, now every time her Angelina sing it, it brings her and that experience back so vividly. Of course the tears come with it , but that’s OK. Angelina is an amazing person and artist, her ability to help and changes others for the better is unmatched Your are the first reactor to Angelina I ever saw and I’m very happy to see you react to this particular performance as my wife and I watched it live. I don't understand how she can sing this and not cry. I hear her and I think of those I have lost, and I would not be able to hold it in. However, she could sing the A B Cs and it would hit me in the feelings.

Another outstanding performance by our barefoot princess Angelina she dedicates to all that have lost love ones. Wild bill

So relevant to your remarks on stage presence was watching her opening when she decided she wanted the mic moved. She held the mic exactly where it needed to be with her left hand, moved the stand to a couple of new positions, remounted the mic while never taking eyes from audience smiling! So supportive, attentive, pleasant.

Valery, You are spot on about recovering from losing our loved ones. I lost my eldest sister two days before Angelina’s birthday last January. I listened to “Million Miles” in honor of my sister. I sent a link to Angelina’s studio version of “Million Miles” to my other siblings.

Thank you Valerie for your raw & honest reaction to (16) Angie. I pray that things do get better as much as they can for you. This version Angie did really emoted some feelings for us. Her more of 3 concerts are 7-1-22 in Kurbadhagen, 7-7-22 at Kongsberg & 7-10-22 again at Kurbadhagen. Angie had a lot of fun & so did the fans. (Mattias Axelsson, Vidar Enerud, Kathrine Angeltveit & Trond Andersen are good channels to start withThey have some good recordings & video's)

Some people found this to slowed down. I thaught the same the first half, but when you where there, specially at Kongsberg jazzfestival, you could feel the sorrow. She looked as if she would start to cry herself, and that last primal scream made some knees buckle and tears flow.. 🥲 And now, listening to her studioversion, that suddenly feels a little to upbeat.. but it depends on the mood I am in too, I guess..😋 Beautiful song it is anyway it is sung..

Angelina expresses her heart here as few artists do. She trasmits what she feels in a way that speaks to our hearts and the way that we feel. Angelina was very much a child when she wrote this and I feel that she relives what she felt back then. I remember that heart rending performance where she sang "You are always on my mind" in memory of her grandfather and she barely holds back the tears and I'm barely holding mine back as I listen to her. I wish I could have the consolation you find in feeling that those that have died are somewhere close but many of us don't have that. For some of us when people die that is it, game over, finished. The only place people remain is in our memories and that is the only place I will remain when it's my turn. Yes I can envy your consolation but I do face life head on and while my grief hurts every day that just makes every day more precious.

There it is, the loss of breath, the chills, the tears, no one has ever done this to BILLIONS of people with such consistency. We love her total being.

So sorry for all the loss and pain you have experienced Valerie. Glad this song gives you hope that you have not lost all which of course is Angelina's message. Take care.

What I think gets me the most is the only vocal training I think she got was in an after school program in Oslo, and then she was very young. Even after NGT and she went on a worldwide tour her family hired a tutor for her but no mention of a vocal coach. It seems to me that she must be self taught. A producer after watching Gloomy Sunday said of her music “ music transcends language regardless weather on or off pitch being able to emote emotion is what is important.” There are a lot of singers in this world, however very few who can move an audience. And because of her ability to emote there was never a need for a vocal coach. When Angelina does a song rather than learn the words, the emotion of the song is what is most important, which is probably the reason she’s often seen reading the words while performing.

This version is sooo strong. This young woman is something very special. Other singers will be compared to her...and to top it off the music is original. The end belt is absolutely impressive and engaging in a really visceral way. This really is art, by a sixteen year old!

I thought Angelina's previous studio recording in black and white is her definitive rendition of her won song. But this live performance is out of this world, and she is still only 16. So I just enjoy this moment and not think about comparisons.

Angelina has lost others near her, too. I'm thinking Avicii. Also, late last year her grandma, who she is very close to, had a health crisis. Angelina dedicated at least one of her performances of "I have nothing" to her because she couldn't travel to Norway with her. My point is that even though she is only 16, she has already had quite a lot of very emotional things happen in her life. Her amazing talent is that ability to channel all those feelings into her art so that we can all partake.

This song is like a good wine, the older it gets, the better it gets. And that howl to the moon in the finale will enter the legend of Angelina like the growls of "i put a spell on you".

Her ability to convey emotions and power for her age and the way she connects with her audience it just magic .I always enjoy your reactions they always are so real

I lost my grandfather after him spending 3 days in a hospital for routine tests only 45 minutes away. I didn't take the time to go see him, and he died the night he got out of the hospital. I have always felt guilty about that. The point is, everybody has lost loved ones, and this song puts it in prospective of what we all feel. It also proves what an artist Angelina is.

To live is to lose. I been here a good many years . So I know what it is. Valerie I couldn't help but shed a few tears for you, for her, for me ,for all who live and have loss. This song especially brings me to tears, also a few more from this empath who our Lord has placed here for this very reason. She lifts us and soothes our hearts with song. As good as this sounded, it was way better being there in person. There are qualities her voice has that just don’t quite come through in even the best recordings.. This was the highest point in a concert filled with high points, and had me and many others in tears. My mom is in precarious health and I can’t imagine what this song is going to feel like when she passes..

She touches so deep into one's emotions with the voice from heaven, and makes you feel it's actually ok to cry and love.

Thank you for another great reaction & especially for sharing your own losses with us. Having lost my wife several years ago, this song always brings me to tears. And - while I've watched all the recorded versions of this song (animated lyrics, studio & music video) many times, this most recent live concert version hit me the hardest. I think it's because it seems to be sung a little slower, with great background instrumentation & of course with Angelina's angelic vocals which are continually improving. Thank you. I love the phrase " - it`s like you`re in my tears." And as time go by, our dear ones may also get close to us even in our smile and happy moments. Then, as our very best and happy memories comes through in our mind, our sorrow from the mourning slowly weakens. The will always be part of our life. - - - It`s a great thing we may look forward for an allbum from our young wice and amazingly gifted star and angel soon. Her future conserts, on the other hand, might just be like magic trips into her 7th heaven for all of us. This summer gave us all a true taste of just that. I whish for you Valerie to be abel to attend to one, sooner rather than later. I promise you, it IS pure magic. I guess there is no news to you in that statement. Love your reactions more and more.
