Love the Ordinary’s powdered ascorbic acid. Since it’s dry, it doesn’t spoil. Mix as you go, and works great…. Plus it’s incredibly inexpensive

Thank you for the focus on Vitamin C! I have been using it for several years, but at 59, I am adding quite a few other actives to my routine. I am using the timeless 20%, but worry that 1) do I need to lower my skin PH before applying, or worry that my essense is not a low PH that I apply before it? 2) I was using argiriline and lactic acid in my morning routine with it (along with CoQ10, Azelaic acid, urea, peptide eye serum, Niacinamide and ceramide moisturizer before my SPF) and read conflicting reports that I am countermanding the efficacy of my vitamin C with some of these products, or not maintaining a low PH in my skincare. Since Vitamin C is the star of my morning routine, please help! I trust you!

@@evelinasaulite4387 that smell is caused by the ferulic acid (which is a supporting and stabilizing ingredient in many vit c products) that has started to oxidize /go bad. Whereas metallic smell is the smell of vitamin c that has started to oxidize / go bad. (Although I can't say at what point the smell /what intensity/ would imply that the product is ineffective. There may still be a big window of time where you can use it or there may not🤷‍♀️)

I personally started using Eva Naturals Vitamin C+ Serum which is best reviewed on Amazon with 50,000 reviews and reasonably priced. It has vitamin C, rosehip, niacinamide, retinol, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid and tea tree which makes it smell nice and feels like I'm putting a treatment on my face every morning! I've enjoyed it. I dont know how this product compares to Timeless or what makes timeless a good product. Is there something I should know that makes Timeless better?
